Text element appears to duplicate or remove text at random

i have reported this issue to no avail twice that there is a bug in the creative portion of site builder in the text/copy whereby it deletes itself or duplicates itself on its own, obviously this is very time consuming as you have to redo the same text over and over and it seems to have a mind of its own. i've been using the program for a long while and had never had this issue until recently.

Hi,

I'm very sorry for everyone's frustration. We are actively looking into the bugs within the text element and working towards a solution. We thank everyone for their posts and ask that you continue to let us know what bugs you find so we can get them fixed ASAP.

In the mean time, we have found one workaround:

When you see the duplicate text, use backspace to erase the last few characters, make sure you go pass the end of the duplicated text (both of them and maybe couple characters beyond that), now click outside of the text box. Save. Then resume editing.

I have heard back from the team and we are actively working on resolving these issues. With that said, we'd appreciate some feedback to accelerate the process to fix these issues.

If you're still seeing one of these 3 issues and are interested in working with us - please let me know what issue you're having (you can use the numbers), what browser you're using and any other details you can provide. Also, if you have a different issue please respond to this thread as well. The team is following this thread.

Hi All,

For anyone still having trouble with the text element duplicating, deleting or disappearing etc, please try:

Selecting the text box, by left clicking it one time.

Change the Font (to any other font) > Save > Exit Sitebuilder Plus

This should resolve the issue, please log back into Sitebuilder Plus and try editing the text element again.

*You should be able to change the font back to what you were using originally

We are very sorry for anyone who is still having issues with the text (deleting, wrapping etc). This problem has subsided dramatically over the last few months as it was mostly (but not limited to) people using Firefox v15 & v16. Firefox has released several new versions over the last two months and is now up to v22.

If you have upgraded to the most recent version of Firefox and are still having issues you can let us know as we are still tracking accounts that have this issue.

If you reply, please post what kind of computer you are using, ie. mac, or PC, what browser, IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome etc. and what version of that browser.

We'll add your information to a database in hope of finding a fix for everyone.
