The person who set up our Homestead account is no longer with us and I need to change passwords. I know the Websites Manager password, but when I go to the drop down menu under Account>Contact Info & Security, that password does not work. Apparently the Contact Info & Security password is 5 characters, whereas the Websites Manager password is 10. Any help with resetting both passwords would be welcome.
If you can login to your website manager, you don't need another password to enter your Account Information. Log in to your Homestead account > Select Account > Select Contact Info & Security > Edit Password.
Thanks for your advice, but I posted this question to the community because the things that you are telling me are things that I have already tried and DID NOT WORK. The website manager password is 10 characters long. The masked password under the Contact & Security tab is 5 characters long; therefore NOT the same. When I enter the website manager password to try to edit the password I get a message that says: Your old password was not correct. Please try again .
They should be the same password, but since that is not working for you, I have sent a password rest to your gmail account. This does not require you know the old password. It will change it to whatever you enter.
