Hi there,

We are trying to add the following CNAMES:

hs1._domainkey (with value champeypaingroup-com.hs01a.dkim.hubspotemail.net)

hs2._domainkey (with value champeypaingroup-com.hs01b.dkim.hubspotemail.net)

Unfortunately, your validation is failing, telling us the host must consist of numbers/letters only. The thing is, these CNAME hosts are perfectly valid. Is there any way you can lighten the validation or manually add these for us? I don't see a way to edit the zone file from your backend.

I've already reached out to the party who provided these records and they cannot provide an alternate because they're valid CNAMEs.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, the Homestead nameservers can't accept a record with an underscore. The only resolution for this is to use different nameservers and edit your DNS with them.

There are many out there to use. One that is pretty easy is Cloudflare.com. They will actually scrape the current records and then you just need to change the nameservers.
