I have a client with his website currently hosted at homestead, however he wants a wordpress site so i've set up a hosting account at another provider, and have updated the advanced DNS section to redirect the domain to the ip address provided by the other host, however he still wants his email to remain at homestead, and not incur any service disruption for his email. Is this possible?

Good morning adrian5278,

You will need to get DNS records for pointing the domain.  Ask the company that you are using to host the site for any A records and/or CNAME records they require.  Once you have those you can use the Advanced DNS link in the domain manager to change the records.  Leave the MX records alone and that will leave email as is.

Thanks

Drew
