I transferred my domain.  The domain transferred, meaning that the transferred domain is pointing to the new location, but subdomain 'www' still points to Homestead.  What is going on?

That domain shows it was deleted from the account today but it still does show both the nameserves and DNS records are pointing to Homestead still. I can restore the domain back to the account so you can access the settings to point it elsewhere.

The domain is still registered with Homestead. If you would like, after the restore you can release the domain for transfer https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/how_do_i_transfe or point it via ns https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/how-do-i-change-the-nameservers-for-my-domain or DNS  https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/account-edit-view-dns-records.

The domain was transferred to GoDaddy.  For a while this AM dysartcommunitycenter.org was connecting with the new hosting site.  'www' was never removed from Homestead.  We went through the proper procedures to transfer the site.  Why wasn't it transferred?  Are you saying that you could transfer it back to Homestead without GoDaddy's involvement?  Another question is, "Why can't you just 'let go' of the domain?

It was never released for transferred it was only pointed to Godaddy via DNS. I would not be transferring it back as is was never released, I am just adding it back to the Homestead account so you can manage it. The ip address is a DNS record to point to them, pointing is different from transferring but yes, I can point the domain to that ip address and you can transfer when ready.

Please do.  But GoDaddy is showing the domain in our GoDaddy account.  Is that a problem???

Got it done. No, that is not an issue, it will show there also because its pointing there so it will allow you to manage what site you connect to on their end.

Here is the IP address (no DNS) for the new hosting site:  167.99.107.134.  It is all set up, including an SSL certificate.  Can you get us up for the time being and then we can do the transfer again at a later time?

We have GOT TO get the transfer done!!!  There are email addresses that were set up on GoDaddy and now they are not getting handled because you have the domain moved back to Homestead.   For some reason when the request was made to transfer the domain you didn't acknowledge it.  How do we get the domain transferred???  As far as GoDaddy is concerned it has been transferred!   Please respond ASAP because we are really hurting.

I understand, you can release the domain for transfer with these instructions https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/how_do_i_transfer_my_domain_to_another_host.

Sorry, but I am still REALLY  confused.  Where do we stand on the transfer?  GoDaddy already has the domain set up on their end.  I contacted them and they think that the transfer is being done by TuCows and is just a case of waiting for it to occur.  Is this the case?  Or did you stop the transfer process some way?  I don't know what is going on!

If you have completed the steps in the article https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/how_do_i_transfer_my_domain_to_another_host and provided the authorization code to Godaddy the domain is in the transfer process.

Why is it that we received notification that the transfer has been completed, yet I am getting the following when I try to send an email to "developer@dysartcommunitycenter.org"?
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

Here is what I received from Homestead:

Dear Customer,

A request had been received to transfer dysartcommunitycenter.org to 5173-GO on 01-OCT-2019 13:33:09.

We did not receive explicit instructions to the contrary within the required timeframe, so in accordance with ICANN policy regarding transfers, we have allowed this transfer to complete.

Thank you for your attention,
Homestead Technologies

BUT HERE IS WHAT I RECEIVED WHEN I SENT THE EMAIL:

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its

The domain dysartcommunitycenter.org is registered under GoDaddy. It is pointing to Homestead nameservers, but that is something that GoDaddy will need to change if it should be pointing elsewhere. If you were transferring from Homestead to GoDaddy, it looks like that was successful.
