What does this mean - should I be worried? This happens every time I try to send an email. It began when Homestead changed email providers. "The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server this is pretending to be "smtp.homestead.com" which could put your confidential information at risk. Do you want to connect to the server anyway?"

I configured my homestead email accounts on my MacBook Air.

It should give you an option to confirm or create a security exception. Then the message should no longer appear. Let us know if you still have problems.

Can you confirm there is no security breach? Also, I don't see that option. It says "The sender address jc@2112productions.com was rejected by server smtp.homestead.com. The server response was: bosauthsmtp03: Host66.108.162.53: No authenticated relaying permitted.

The last message you posted is an authentication error. There's probably a typo in the username (email address), the password, or the server name, or any combination of those three. There is no security breach. Some email clients will give you that message if you are not configuring it with the SSL settings. Are you using the Apple email program, or another 3rd party email program like Outlook or Thunderbird?
