What is going on with email maximums? I was at 94% and had not received anything that would have brought my to account to its limit. Capacity jumped from 94 % to 100% full within a couple of minutes, limit was maxed out, and no matter what I delete, it remains at 100% max. I've been deleting for over 20 minutes and still cannot receive emails. It's as if the limits were drastically reduced, and there's no fix even with deletions. How can this be addressed?

Are you also emptying the trash? You must empty the trash after deleting or the space is not freed.

I am having the same issue for the last 3 days.  I have deleted a lot of emails and deleted the trash but the % will not change.  I can not receive any emails.

Donna, You are showing at 538mb. I am unsure how you got that high. I looked in the box and there is a Sent messages folder that has at least 100 messages with attachments over 1mb each. Some over 10mbs each. Are you looking at all folders. It is also possible to upgrade your space if desired.

Email upgrades.

Try logging out and back in. When I logged in, your mail showed at 19%

Yes, I always go into the trash folder and delete in there as well. There is something totally off going on with the disk space. I've been using Homestead for years (since 09) and am very familiar with the capacity levels and deleting, but there was a clear issue that occurred a couple of days ago. Something is definitely wrong. It appeared as a sudden inflation of content although I didn't receive any emails that would have caused the problem between the time it was at 94% and suddenly jumped to 100. I spent almost three hours carefully going through all of my emails and deleting, and I once again received an email stating the following:

Your mailbox has a limit to the number of emails it can contain and is now 90% full, out of a limit of 10000 messages.

Please be sure to delete or archive old email messages to ensure delivery of new messages. Remember to empty your Trash folder as it also counts in your email folder.

I switched back to my laptop and without deleting anything, my disk space stated there was 81% full, not 90% as stated in the email. Please, can you fix this issue? The disk space is arbitrarily fluctuating.

Yes, that's correct. Thanks Elyzabeth! I keep deleting frantically at 80% and am being told the 10000 email quota  is fast approaching at 93%. I'm constantly having to frantically delete emails. I have never in my 10+ years of using Homestead encountered this. After many hours of deletions at the start of the problem (3+ hours and now daily at a constant pace) it still doesn't matter. Was there a new quota implemented?

No, we do not have a new quota implemented, but we are seeing some accounts that are not reporting quota usage accurately. It looks like your account is one of them. We are working on resolving this issue, but do not have an ETA right now. For an immediate fix, I can add storage to your account and place a credit on your account to cancel the charge out. Once the issue is resolved, we can remove that quota upgrade.

Yes, please, as long as the charge doesn't go through to my credit card (would create an accounting issue that I know I would spend hours looking for later on down the line). I also had purchased the extra memory upgrade long ago like the other client you had mentioned had somehow had her extra memory disconnected from her account. It sounds like the same problem here. Thanks for your help Elyzabeth. I really appreciate your working to get this fixed. : )

Of course, I'll add that. I don't see any storage upgrades on your account, but I can definitely add it. I will also credit the account enough for this month and next month to give us time to resolve this issue on our end. You will not see a charge for this.

Hello,

I can see the discrepancy in the quota on your email. I will submit a ticket to get this issue resolved.
Would you like me to add the storage upgrade on the account for now? It will be removed when this issue is resolved and I will credit the account so you will not be charged for it.

Ok, I've added that storage and credited for the rest of your billing cycle so you will not see a charge for this.
