I am also having the same problem, except mine is going back to the 15th December!  I don't know how many clients I have missed out on since then...extremely worrying!   Will this form submissions finally come through one day or are they gone for ever?

Richard, I believe we will never see the lost submissions.  I'm completely down again with 'zero' submissions coming through.

Having same issue.......It appears that forms sent from one of our pages on our site are not coming through anymore. No changes where made on our end. Response is normal " Your form has been submitted"
The e-mail that the form is routed to is working fine.

I have two sites and submitted five forms to myself but only two of them came through so I went into my sites and removed the form and the submit button and put my email address in red with a notation to "click on the red link below" and now people just email me directly.  It works every time.  DO IT!  It may be a little more work for you but better to be in contact with clients than sit by the computer twiddling your thumbs til the migration is complete, yes?

Bill5099,I would like you to confirm something because ,again, this problem has two aspects, submit button not working and 20% to 50% or more of submissions not being received when button DOES work, so my question for you is have you self submitted 10 or 20 test forms and confirmed you received all of them? Thanks

i would prefer not to give out my web site, but i will tell you exactly what has been happening so you can make an informed decision. rest assured, my site is up and i am getting all my form submissions.

on tuesday i could not log into my account at all for about 3 hours. i kept getting the redirect to homestead's home page. i could log into desktop however and i could publish if i wanted to. no forms would go through during that period and any attempts were redirected to homestead. i could not even access the file that contained any of the older/previous submissions.

then, out of the blue, i could log in and since then all my submissions have gone through. i know this b/c of the site statistics and people visiting that page.

it would seem therefore, that i was migrated over. perhaps it is rolling out in stages and they just haven't gotten to everybody? it would also seem that it is in fact all tied together; i am getting my forms, i can publish and i will also say that it is lightning fast-i get submissions instantly and they get forwarded to yet another email address instantly. there are no hangs when i publish and logging in is extremely fast. this would also suggest that not only did they simply migrate me but i am on a much faster server unimpeded by whatever it was.

i hope that helps.

Hi all, we have been doing some testing and believe it might, at least in some cases be spam related. What email system do you all have the forms go to? Homestead mail, gmail, yahoo, etc?

Thanks

A couple of people are using Google forms. I have seen some use jotform.com. There are many form generators out there, they just have to be HTML. Susan has one she likes, but I am having trouble locating her post. I'll post it when I do.

You might take a look at www.mycontactform.com I've used it for years both on my own site and client sites with no issues. There is a free version and a premium version. Set up is simple. There is also Google forms - haven't used it so can't speak to its ease of use or reliability. Dozens more I'm sure.

It will be fixed as soon as they can get it done, they have literally hundreds of thousands of us to migrate over to the new location. People are pretty sophisticated, they understand when you explain there are technical glitches. Tell me a little more about what you do, Charles.

Hi Leah... We collect donated furnishings and appliances...at this time of year it's critical that we stay on top of donations. After we collect these items our partner agencies brings their clients to the furniture Banc to choose items from our warehouse.... It's a service to provide furniture and appliances to those in need or maybe some folks just going through a rough time... House fire... Relocation... Domestic violence.... Sorry for the long response....

Not at all, I asked and am interested, that is a wonderful thing to do!  There is a company here called Reuse Hawaii and they demolish homes and sell off the pieces so they don't end up in a dump somewhere, I am remodeling my bathroom and have bought a lot of things there, the most recent being a toilet paper holder, you know, the kind with a big spring in it. I found one in brushed chrome and bought it for five bucks.  I am sure your clients will understand and be happy to still make donations over the phone and via email.  I sincerely hope you can stay on top of this.  So sorry this is happening to you.  I am just trying to offer some positive feedback to others but not everyone wants to hear that it is going to be all right.  My general philosophy is to roll with the punches and find creative ways to get by til things return to normal, and they will.  I decided to spend my time working with my December clients and not worry about January, but a lot of people here are managing sites for others and I can understand how this is a disaster for them. OTOH, people are pretty sophisticated these days and they do understand these things happen.  I am going to hang in there. I will keep you in my prayers! <3

Sometimes  roll with life and it will roll right over you, IMO, as much as I respect your's. This situation is a complete disaster. I have been a HS client for 5 or more years, and did not even know about the forum here. There are thousands like me that als don't. They are vulnerable right now.

We, in this forum, Leah, are the tip of the spear, so to speak, and on behalf of all those who, like me, for the first 3 days of not receiving orders thought it was my fault with google indexing or something, then finally called HS tech. support and only THEN found out about the migration.

Even so, they at tech. support had no clue, they did not know about the Submit button problem, could not help, so I was in the dark (more delay)  until I discovered it for my self - then to see this is a problem that this forum has known about for 3 weeks.

It is up to us here to fight for ourselves AND everyone else who may be hurting without knowing it or why they are, as  tech support has no answers. But at least in this venue Drew has a conduit to engineering. Keep him informed and don't hesitate to tell him how much damage this is causing!!!

The same thing happened to me so I went into my sites and removed the submit form and button and substituted my email address instead in RED.  Then changed the instruction to read: Please click on red link below.  Works like a charm!  I have been getting data sent from clients via email.  Try it! btw. as of 4:30 est it was working. and guess what? now its not. its not even saving the text files. but-at least they have a redirect page set up with a page that says:

"You have experienced an unexpected server error. We are working to resolve this problem as quickly as possible. Please try again later."

luckily for me we are slow at this time of year. but it really needs to get fixed. same thing with the "unannounced" email migration. one day things were fine-the next day-no email.

I too have a problem (for several weeks now and most likely throughout the past year, as I recall several inquiries from last summer) with form data submissions not arriving to my Homestead email address.  This is posing a huge problem for me and all the people who use and depend on my website functioning properly (as it has for most of the past 12+ years that I've been a Homestead customer).  Please advise as to when this massive problem will be solved.
