Still can't edit text boxes without chaos. Have tried Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox - same result. When I hit enter to move down a space to type another sentence the cursor is moved down two or more lines. This is frustrating when attempting to edit an existing box of text. I am at a complete stand still as I cannot edit my site.

Is this happening on all sites and pages? Can you give me an example of what you would like to change on a specific page?

Go to any page of my thisdayindisneyhistory.com site and attempt to edit any text box and you will experience the problem.

I did not see this problem in IE 10 or Chrome 33. You can try disabling any plugins that you don't use. Sometimes that will clear up issues like this.

Disabled all plugins and tried IE, Chrome and Firefox - same result in all browsers. When I hit enter in the middle of a sentence (because I want to move the text down) the cursor jumps to a blank space below the last sentence. Makes editing impossible.

Hi Tony3127, I also tried to reproduce this on several pages and text boxes and did not get the problem. There's a chance it could just be a caching issue in the browser. Can you try to clear your cookies & cache, close the browsers completely down, then log back in and test it again?

Cleared cookies and cache - no difference. I guess I am the only person with this problem. LOL I am at a complete stand still as adding or editing is nearly impossible. Good thing I am a reasonably patient customer ...

Hi Tony3127, I see that your account is still set up with the Desktop version of Sitebuilder. Have you by any chance tried to edit with that version as a temporary work around?

Also, I just refreshed all your site files on our server in case this is caused by some sort of caching issue. You may want to log in and try to edit again and see if it still gives you the problem.

As a temporary work around you may have to try and edit the text by utilizing multiple text boxes if you can't use the "enter" key. We are still doing some research on this but let us know if any of the things I just mentioned do, or do not work.

You refreshing my sites on the server seems to have done the trick (at least for now - as sometimes this problem re-appears at a later time). I thought the Desktop version was no longer an option. I removed it from my pc as I was told it would not work. I actually prefer it to the "online version". Can I download it and use it? I use separate text boxes whenever possible as I realize it helps avoid multiple problems if you don't try to cram a million paragraphs in one box. thanks for your help!

You can try to download it again, but I don't recommend reverting back to it. It will likely cause more issues. If you have this same problem again, just reply here and we'll refresh it again. Just let us know which site the problem is with.

Mike
