I have spoken with a customer rep on the phone twice now and still my site is not working.  I don't know what has been changed on the back end but I am setting it up the same as every other site I have set up and still it isn't working.

I registered my domain heartlandbiblechurch.org at godaddy (like i always do) and pointed the name servers to my server (ipower) so I can use the advanced DNS settings (like I always do) and then I point the a record to homestead via the IP address.

I have been given different IP address from the rep however none have worked... At first it only showed a blue box saying "This website is hosted by Homestead...." then when the rep had me try a different IP now its just resolving a 404 error...

Yet the sites I have set up before via the same system are working fine.

Any advise?

We have 2 sets of DNS now. One for Sitebuilder sites and the other for the new Websitebuilder sites. All new sites are created for Websitebuilder. Currently it looks like you are set to Sitebuilder DNS, but the site is set to use Websitebuilder as the editor. Have you begun editing the site? Once we settle on the builder to be used, I can get you the correct DNS and make sure the domain is working correctly.

If this is what you are building, http://heartlandbible.homesteadcloud.com/ then the DNS should be set with 3 A records and no CNAMES.

A records:

@ 146.148.102.201
* 146.148.102.201
www 146.148.102.201

After those changes have propagated you might see a new page not found error. If so, create a new site and change the association of the domain to the new site. Then change it back. That should fix it.
