In the last 24 hours I have noticed a marked increase in the amount of spam getting into my inbox. It is about 25% of all of my incoming mail. Did something change and when can I expect the filters to be working properly again?

Hi Bonnie6409, I know they are still trying to make adjustments to the spam filter to stop the real spam, but not block legitimate emails. Since this is a brand new system it will take a few weeks to refine everything. However, thanks for this post as we are letting them know what you are experiencing.

Same here . . . I was getting HUNDREDS of spam messages a day, it temporarily got better and now over the past couple of days it's on the increase again. I'm getting about 4-5 an hour now :(

We still have some work to do in the inbound spam filter. Over the coming weeks there will be some changes made to the email system which are be more restrictive as far as letting spam pass through the system. Unfortunately this will take some more time so we apologize for the inconvenience.

This company is a joke. If you cannot create a proper spam filter than get off the web. My contract is renewing end of November and I will not be renewing. It seems to me this company doesn't care. If you can't protect your customer with the most basic spam words like "penis" you have no business having a web company.

As mentioned in my posts above, we are in the process of converting all of out accounts to a new email platform. The incoming spam filter is far superior than the one that is being used right now. We already started emailing customers notifying them of the change, but since there are millions of accounts to convert, it will take a few months to fully complete. You'll get an email notifying you before the change takes place and also another one once your account is converted.

This page shows most of the details. http://hmailupgradefaq.homestead.com/

Hi Tammy3134, if you read through the posts above, you'll see that this issue is being worked on, but if you do have a more specific question feel free to post.
