Hope you can point me in right direction (have scoured BC Help, my template files and snippets). When product is 'Sold Out', BC inserts a 'dialogue' under Current Stock that reads:

Sorry but this item is currently unavailable.

Please check back at a later stage.

I am trying to find it so I can either change the dialogue to sometime more appropriate to our business or remove totally...but cannot find where to do this. (Customers find the comment confusing and keep coming back to the link/or calling for future inventory). (snippet below)

(disregard the 'Spoken for!'...that is just my verbiage for that field) - the balance is auto-populated by BC

As always, Thank you!

Sorry, I am a bit behind these days. Under Setup & tools, in the inventory section, you can change Out of Stock. The other place is in the code. Go to the template files and then the snippets folder. Look for the file sideadditemsoldout.html. Does that help?

No worries...I realize there are some issues. I went to this Template and it does not contain the dialogue that is on my 'out of inventory' product detail pages (a shown above).

Here is a snippet of the template you directed me to:

The 'Sorry....Please Check Back....' is what I am looking to change.

Hey Drew -

Any word on where I can find this info to change?

As always, Thank You!

There suggestion was to comment it out, but you should be able to change the messaging if you want.

Not sure what you mean by 'comment it out'? could you please expand?

Again, maybe I am not fully understanding - I thought the 'code in the snippet' is pulling the 'message' from someplace and I cannot figure out where that message is?

You should be able to remove the lines 3 and 6 and replace it with the Text you want. If you haven't made any other code changes to that snippet, then it is easy to revert it if you make a mistake.
