Sitebuilder desktop login error in win7 64bit

I got a "login error" while using Sitebuilder (desktop) to update my site pages.
"You may have entered an incorrect User ID or password..."

I do log on the websites.intuit.com and edit my pages -- user ID/password shoule correct.

Could you please help checking the issue? Thanks.

Thanks for writing in!

It took a minute for me to figure out what was going on, but your account is only provisioned to use Sitebuilder Plus - the online, browser-based version. Your account currently doesn't support the older desktop version.

To work on your website you'd have to log into your website account.

If you're interested in using Desktop, I can switch your account to allow that. However, not all of the features on Plus are available on desktop.

Please let me know either way!

Does it mean that I can only use Sitebuilder Desktop after switching my account?
Or both of Desktop and online version will be available for me?

Hi Rick,

Sorry for the delay - You currently only have access to Sitebuilder plus so you will not be able to use Sitebuilder Desktop (downloaded version).

Hi itusccp,

Welcome - Currently your account is setup for Sitebuilder Plus only.

I'd recommend to continue using Sitebuilder Plus because the templates are not compatible with the desktop version and there are only a small amount of templates to choose from with the desktop version.

Ok, I'll go on to use Sitebuilder Plus -- sometimes it's slow while editing pages on-line...
