The last few times I've tried to update my website sitebuilder has been agonizingly slow to a point where its crossed my mind to take my business elsewhere. Since Homestead has taken over from Intuit, I've experienced nothing but problems

Good morning, what does slow mean? I just went to every page in your site in Sitebuilder and it took at the longest, about 2 seconds to load a page.

You could also click on each image and then on the right click the optimize button. This will resize the image to fit with the size that you are using it. This will help reduce the size of the file and speed up page loads, both in Sitebuilder and for site visitors.

Thanks

Drew

Slow is defined as UPDATING DATA TO MY WEBSITE, not pages loading.
When using sitebuilder to load images and text, it takes so long that the server here times out and the page has to reload. Using sitebuilder in the past few weeks has been extremely slow as your engineering staff will concur as I have spoken with them about this situation.

I am sorry, I see no notes of you having contacted us concerning this issue. I am also not seeing any slowness when I add an image. As I stated, your images are being uploaded in a size that is often over 100kb each and some up to 500kb. In one case it is 6mb. While none of these should cause a timeout, they certainly will take a little longer to upload.

You could try clearing the cache and cookies from your browser, or possibly try a different browser. Sometimes browser plugins can affect performance.

I would suggest contacting support next week and asking them to remote to your system so that they can see the issue first hand and see if they can identify what is happening.

Thanks

Drew

It is very often slow...there is no telling when it will be slow and it also shuts down often while working on the site.

I see you recently switched to SiteBuilder Plus. Try using the Firefox web browser as it tends to run pretty smooth.

It's just slow as hell and it's not going to stop. I wish we'd get a real answer as to why it seems Homestead has fallen from glory. I know it's not just me.
