Have you exceed your page limit? Have you exceed you storage limit?
Have you tried a "refresh"?
F5 = Refresh. If that doesn't work, use Shft/Ctrl/Delete.
Using this procedure intermittently provides solutions to cache and cookie related interference. A browser works by downloading a page to your computer. Browsers will then show the page from your computer as opposed to downloading it every time you visit the page. This speeds up the process and lessens the traffic on the Internet. Depending on the browser, it will periodically check the website for a new version of the page and download it if it has changed. If you don't see a change that you expect, then press F5. That tells the browser to go to the site and download the page now.

You can adjust the cache settings with each browser. When you visit a website, your computer downloads the website to your Temporary Internet Files. The next time you visit, instead of wasting bandwidth and loading time, it opens the recently visited site that is on your computer. Clearing out your cache prompts your computer to download the website with the new content.

4.9.17: LAYERING ELEMENTS:
Layering procedure: Select the element > right click > choose your layering command.
The help section has no explanation for the "Bring Forward" "Send Back" elements in the Image Setting menu. I don't think they have any purpose currently. Perhaps they did. what we've been trying to make them do, at one time. The programmers should try fixing that. It's very misleading. Also, there's no other explanation for layering. Layering is an excellent feature. Now you know how to use it, you'll find many applications for it.

6.19.17: HOW TO MAKE A LARGER IMAGE:
You can use a photo gallery. Add a gallery and you may add a bunch of images to it and then click an image and it will enlarge.
Mouseover Effect is a good tool as well.

3.26.17: HOW TO SEE ALL THE ELEMENTS ON A PAGE:
IN editor, Just try holding the CTRL key down and tapping A. This will highlight all the elements on the page. You should then be able to find the text box, click on it and delete.

You may have an element that's out of range. Try setting your page width to 1500. Use Page Settings > Background > Insert 1500 in the Page Width element > Save.
Depress the control key and press "A" to select all elements or right click your mouse and Select All. By doing this you'll have outlined all the elements. If an item is out of the range of your standard page width, you see it outlined. At this time you can select that one element and move it (unlock if needed) or delete it.

11.9.16: BLENDING MULTI ELEMENTS:
I can't identify the structure of your composition but I can inform you that you cannot impose one text box over another and expect their relative positions to translate on your published site. The same applies to integrating images into a text composition.

7.26.16: IMAGE SCROLLER SIZING:
Scroll to the bottom of your Image Scroller Settings and you'll see Position and Size. Change the size by dragging the corner of the image. Select sizes that are consistent for a uniform slide show. Using paint to resize image is a good technique. Upload resized images can eliminate some guesswork.

7.20.16: HOW TO GO MOBILE:
If you have not created a mobile website yet, we do offer the ability to create one with Dudamobile. When you are logged into your Homestead account, go to Website Manager, towards the bottom you will see Create Mobile Site. Under this, there is a Get Started button. This will try to generate a mobile website and walk you through the steps to publish.

7.24.16: HOW TO PRODUCE A BLOG:
Your blog page will look like a form. You can develop the content using Blog Settings. You and only you can enter information on the blog page itself. To create a Blog page: Use View Page > Add a Page > Insert > Text > Blog. From here use the Blog Settings to insert content. Any content you have, will require you process from customer input directed to you via email using Contact Us button or conversation you generate from your experiences. Experiment with the Blog Settings Tools: New, Edit, Comments and Modify Settings. The Blog may not produce the vehicle you're expecting. It didn't for me either. I expected a two way conversation on the live page. Not.

7.5.16: CREATE A PRIVATE CONVERSATION:
You may create a private topic if you like or we can help you here. You would need to remove any domains you don't need any longer and also delete the additional sites you no longer want to have.

Experiment with the Site Navigation Menu Settings tool. You can adjust font sizes and spacing.

6.21.16: PRODUCE A TITLE FOR A NEW PAGE:
Select the menu > Select "Links" From your Site Navigation Menu Settings > Select "+" > Browse your files and add the desired file > OK > scroll to the bottom of Menu Settings and enter your Display Name > select edit link to concur > In the command box, review file information > OK > Save > Publish.

- Add a page name to your site navigation menu: Highlite the menu > Site Navigation Menu Settings > Links > "+" to add name > Select "Style" > Font Size and style > Select "Effects" > Select Spacing > Experiment with the three spacing elements to achieve the results you're wanting.

6.20.16: ROTATE IMAGE:
Some newer cameras add code to the image orientation. Sitebuilder settings are overwritten by this code. You will need to use image editing software like Microsoft Paint to open the image and then save it as a new image with a new name and upload it again. Try: http://www141.lunapic.com/editor/

7.18.16: HOW TO LINK A PAGE, TEXT OR IMAGE:

You can use a site navigation menu
You can link text.
You can link an image.
You can make anchor links.

7.21.16: HOW TO CREATE A LINK:

Select the image > Use Image Setting Menu > Link > You can browse and select the link element of you can Copy the link URL address and insert it into the link command box.
LINK TEXT: Highlight the text and follow the same procedure.

6.20.16: LINK AN ELEMENT ON A DIFFERENT PAGE:
https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/what_are_anchor_links_and_how_can_i_use_them
Produce an anchor link for the desired element, save and publish. Using your browser, navigate to the page and select the element. You'll see that the URL has changed to include the element's link address. Copy that URL and paste it in your Settings menu Link command.

6.18.16: CREATE A LINK TO ANOTHER ELEMENT ON A DIFFERENT PAGE: You can select the URL from the address line and paste it into your Link command box. If the image or text on the page has an anchor link, you can select that element and the URL will include that specific element. Using that URL address will target that specific element. For example: Select any element on the page and produce an anchor link for that element. Save and publish. Use your browser, navigate and select that element in your site. You will see that the URL address has changed to include the anchor linked item. Copy that URL and paste that as your target link in your Link command box in Image Settings or Text Settings.

Produce an anchor link for the desired element, save and publish. Using your browser, navigate to the page and select the element. You'll see that the URL has changed to include the element's link address. Copy that URL and paste it in your Settings Menu Link command.

5.27.16: HOW TO LINK THE CORRECT PAGE TO YOUR MENU ITEM:
Review your link settings. Highlight your navigation menu > Links > Select the title > Select Edit Link > Select the corresponding page from your file manager and save.

6.20.16: 404 ERROR:
Per Google: https://www.google.com/search?num=30&site=webhp&source=hp&q=404+error&oq=404&gs_....
"The HTTP 404 Not Found Error means that the webpage you were trying to reach could not be found on the server. It is a Client-side Error which means that either the page has been removed or moved and the URL was not changed accordingly, or that you typed in the URL incorrectly."
Generally there's no need to make any adjustment. Removing the 404 page may disable your customer to be directed to your site. 404's may be produced by page name changes.

6.18.16: ROTATE AN IMAGE:
If you're using SB+, you can try to rotate the element using Image Settings > Adjust Image > Rotate Image. You can rename the file, using png, jpeg or gif, prior to importing. Use paint to rotate the image prior to importing, if needed. This occurs with some phone images, etc.

6.16.16: How to embed video code:
Select Insert > More > HTML > paste you code into the command box and select OK.

6.13.16: ERROR 0X19
Error 19 is a connection issue. It is typically that Sitebuilder was idle for too long and timed out. Are you still seeing this now?

6.10.16: NEW HOME PAGE:
To install the new page as your home page, select the page > Page Settings > Page Name > enter "index.html" > save. Remove the page name from your previous page.
Next, you can add the new home page to your site navigation menu by selecting the menu > Use the Site Navigation Menu Settings > Links > + to add the page > follow the instructions in the command box to locate your new home page > select the page from your files > OK. Now, you can scroll to the bottom and edit the page title. Since you have only one page, it should now be the only page on the menu and it should appear with the page title you've chosen and it will respond as the home page.

5.21.16: UNDER CONSTRUCTION:
You can unpublish from the file manager. Click on your site name on the top right of the editor. Open your File Manager, select your pages and files, and un-publish.

You can create a text box: "Under Construction" or whatever you want to use to identify your site's condition. Expand the text box to cover your menus, add a color background to hide the contents, use text centering, borders and padding to create a nice presentation. The same thing can be accomplished using any image. Be creative. Covering the menus will prevent access to other pages without having to change the status of your site. After, save and publish. Using this alternate method, you can work on your site by lifting the cover and insert images, text etc. You can Save your work without changing the published presentation. When you're ready, remove the facade save and publish.

5.25.16: You can add an search box using an HTML box. https://cse.google.com/cse/

10.23.16: DOMAIN REGISTRATION:
If the Domain Name is registered with Homestead, read of this tutorial: https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/extremely_important_domain_information

5.29.16: REGISTRATION VERIFICATION:
What is your website address? Is your Domain Name registered with Homestead? The website hosting company is not necessarily the domain registrar for a domain name. My domain name is with register.com. My hosting company is Homestead. If register.com does not have my correct email address, I will not receive their email notice and I could not verify. This happened with me and my website shut down because I didn't respond the their email regarding registration expiration. Register.com was using an old email address that I had abandon. If the domain name is now registered with Homestead, and Homestead has the correct email address, they will send notices regarding verification. Check with one of the Homestead staff on Tuesday if you're unable to decipher verification.
Try: https://www.whois.net/.

5.30.16: SIZING AN IMAGE
I suggest you size your images using Paint before uploading. This will optimize your page loading times and will eliminate unwanted storage. If you have images stored that are no longer used or they have been resized for better adaptation, you can delete them from your website manager without consequence provided that specific image is not currently being used on your website.\

To address your replacement image problem, you might try a refresh: A browser works by downloading a page to your computer. Browsers will then show the page from your computer as opposed to downloading it every time you visit a page. This speeds up the process and lessens the traffic on the Internet. Depending on the browser, it will periodically check the website for a new version of the page and download if it has changed. If you don't see a change that you expect, then press F5. That tells the browser to go to the site and download the page now. Using a refresh will produce a website image with current changes.

The screenshots are not the same. They are center differently. Do you want it to appear like the screenshot on the left or the right? If so, the page position and page width can be adjusted using Page Settings.

If this explanation doesn't address your process, please confirm and advise.

1.4.46: Create Pop up Window:
Creating a popup window is pretty easy with a little code. Anyway, here is the code for a popup window and also a link to some cool javascript you may want to fool with when you have time.

<script type="text/javascript">
// Popup window code
function newPopup(url) {
popupWindow = window.open(
url,'popUpWindow','height=200,width=650,left=10,top=10,resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes,toolbar=yes,menubar=no,location=no,directories=no,status=yes')

</script>

11.21.17: MIGRATING PASSWORD

Drew N (Community Manager) profile picture
Drew N (Community Manager) just asked this question in Homestead (Sitebuilder Plus):
Why is my page password protected when I didn't add it?
If you have a page that has become password protected and you never added the password, then it is because the password has been save in your browser and the browser is adding it to the field. When you save the page and publish, the browser has added the password to the page and it goes online. You will need to enter the password manager of the browser and locate the line for "sitebuilder.homestead.com" and remove it from the list.

Chrome

1) Go to Settings and scroll down to the bottom and click Advanced.

Image https//d2r1vs3d9006apcloudfrontnet/s3_images/1630121/12868-vmlgk4_inlinepng1501706787

2) Scroll down to the Password section and click on Manage passwords

Image
https//d2r1vs3d9006apcloudfrontnet/s3_images/1630122/952-jnly4o_inlinepng1501707158

3) Find the Website sitebuilder.homestead.com and remove it.

Image https//d2r1vs3d9006apcloudfrontnet/s3_images/1630123/5151-4i3s1s_inlinepng1501707196

Firefox

1) Open Options and click Security, then Saved Log ins. Then search for sitebuilder.homestead.com and remove it.

This should prevent this from happening again.

Can you try Chrome or Firefox instead of Edge. Also, is it happening on all sites? or just one?

The page keeps freezing on me. Pressing F5 restarts Sitebuilder.  Fortunately it does not loose everything.  But this is annoying.  To make a few simple change to my site I have to restart and restart over.  I must have done it 4 times so far.  I don't want to read all that stuff that you sent it is to voluminous.   It just froze again on me.  So I shut down Edge and tried in Chrome.  So far it has done it.  So I keep my finger crossed and if everything is ok I will purge EDGE.
