We understand smaller websites are easier to get through this if you are asked to choose either Local or Published copy, but if you do have a large website and are having issues getting beyond this screen please continue to post them here with your domain name. Thank you everyone for your diligent patience.
UPDATE 10/15/2015: Into the night we did experience more server related issues that was causing the issues to start happening again. It does seem right now that a lot of these problems are clearing up again, but our staff is monitoring closely. While this is going on, we are asking if you still having issues with Sitebuilder to post the issues here so we can make sure we are not missing anything.
UPDATE 10/14/2015: At this moment, it does appear that most of the issues with loading Sitebuilder Plus have cleared up. This includes broken images that were displayed inside, any server errors, or even loading Sitebuilder Plus.
If the Sitebuilder asks you to load the local or published copy, selecting Local copy would be ideal unless you specifically wish to load what is currently published.
If you run into any other problems, please post them here so we can take a look and make sure all issues are in fact cleared up.
Again, we extremely appreciate everyone's patience through this.

I can't get to my website to update it. I get a pop-up that says Synchonize Files with two options: download the published version or local version. Nothing happens when I click on either one. My website is still under construction and has never been published.

After days and days of trying to get into my Homestead account I still cannot. You say you have fixed the problem but not as far as I am concerned.

The problem was resolved. Unfortunately, the files will still need to be synced. It should only be necessary once. Each time you click on keep local it should move to the next file. Each file that needs syncing will need to be clicked. We are sorry for this. Once each file is synced, then you should be good to go

Morning again guys. Drew got me back in yesterday (Sunday) and it was working fine. I was even able to get in multiple times and make changes. Then about 11:00 am EST the system logged me out while doing something.
When I tried to log back in, it gave me a downloading new system files message, then I was blocked from entering again with the usual:
The local and published versions of this file are different. Both files have changed.

I have not been able to edit or work on my website for a week now. I chatted last week with support and got nowhere. He eventually said Homestead was working on an update and he would email when the issue was resolved. I did receive an email saying it's resolved but it's still doing the same thing and I can't edit or access the website. When I go to edit it asks if I want to keep the Local or Published Version. The chat support told me to click on Published Version. When I do, it literally makes me go thru EVERY file that has ever been created for my entire website to approve it for the published version! It has me clicking to approve files that are no longer even on the website. It is hundreds and hundreds of files and I am not going to sit and go thru each one. It's never done this before and needs to be fixed! I cannot click on View the Local copy because one of my pages is too long and got totally screwed up and only the published version is correct with all of our customers comments. HELP!!

I keep getting repeatedly a statement that local and published sites are different and it stops there. I cannot access Sitebuilder. If there is a problem, please let me know when this situation will be cleared up. And yes, I reboot, cleanout history and use Mr. Clean and Windex!

I have been having this same problem all week myself and it is affecting my business! When I login and try to edit my site to ad and change content it goes to the "verifying files" screen and hangs. I need to make changes and fix outdated content. Please help this is making my site useless!

Why did this sycronize problem happen in the first place? You fixed it for me one day and I was very greatful. Today it is doing the same ol' sycronize problem. I am ready to put more pictures on my pages. Can you fix it. I am not that smart about computers and get really upset when I can not get it to work properlly. I have been using Intuit/Homestead for years. NOW, we hit a BUMP. Help.

Have not been able to design my new website since subscribing 10/12/15. At first would not save and now I can't even get on it, and each time I get through to a real person I'm told that you're experiencing problems......duh I KNOW THAT. Its now been 7 DAYS.

This is now day 6 that I cannot work on my site! I was able to get on twice this morning. Now at 11:15 I am experiencing the same issue as in the past 6 days. Now what do I do I have cleared my browser and keep trying to get on I have a large site and it would take much more time than I have available to click on each file. I am trying to run a business with my web site . I need to work on it please help and get this issuse solved!

I can view my website just fine. It's when I log in and go to "edit" that I have a problem. Usually, once I log in and click on the "edit site" button, a pop up screen shows up that says "Starting Up" and it takes a few moments to load and then it lets me in to make my changes. Now, however, I get that same pop up ("Starting Up") and then immediately after that a new message pops up over that and reads: Synchronize File
The local and published versions of this file are different. Both files have changed.

And then if you click on either option, nothing happens. And if you try to close that box nothing happens (It won't let you close it).
