SiteBuilder Download Error

I installed a new desktop computer recently and this afternoon tried downloading SiteBuilder. I received and error message asking to contact Homestead....... SOOOO.... here's a screeenshot of the error message.  What is needed to get the download?

Try downloading the compressed file and installing it from your computer.

Hello Drew,

Thanks for the help. I downloaded, extracted and tried installing from the desktop. All went well until............... see photo.

Actually.... seems to be working. I did download the VJRedist software from Microsoft.  I think I'm good to go.....???

I am getting the same error message "Can't install SiteBuilder due to error code 0x800F081F."  I have done both the suggestions listed above and I am not able to install SiteBuilder for Windows 10.

That error is due to an issue with Windows. Have you looked through any of the Windows troubleshooting guides yet? Here is a link to the specific "0x800F081F" error you have posted.

What is the specific error you are receiving? When you are at the Download Sitebuilder page, can you try installing it from the zip installation package? You can find it towards the bottom of that page:

I am not seeing any link.  It takes me to the "getting started" page.

MK5956, that error is not related to Homestead or Sitebuilder, but an issue with your Windows OS. Have you looked through Microsoft's support regarding this error, or a Google search to find more information?
