Lovely site. I love love love your background image. For my eye it would be easier to read if you changed the white space to a blue of the same or softer shade so that it flows.

Your photos are terrific. I am not an expert but I did buy Intuit's SEO e-book and it was $50 well spent. What I learned is that search engines don't actually see images. Since you are so dependent on the photos, you need to go into site builder and add Alt Text to each picture so the search engines can read the images. The alt text should contain your key words. You can see what I mean at www.gonecountryhats.com if you hover your mouse over the images. It's time consuming but worthwhile.

You website is eye-catching for sure. From a marketing standpoint, I'd like to see what it is that you do differently from your competitors. Find out what things are really important to your customers and address them right on the front page. Since search engines want to be able to read about 250 or more words on the home page, you can get really informative up front. I recommend buying Intuit's e-book on search engine optimization. I did and it was $50 well spent. Please look at www.maverickhats.com and you will see that I followed several of the suggestions in the book: 1. Increased my text on the home page. 2. Told my customers right up front what we do and used my keywords a lot in the description and all through the several text boxes. 3. put alt text on almost every picture in the site - and all of them on the home page for sure. Since search engines don't read images, you need to give them some text to read so they can identify your pictures. Again, use keywords in the alt text. Good luck.

Your site is really nicely done, well organized and attractive. One suggestion I could make is that you add "alt text" to your pictures. Since search engines don't read pictures this allows you to make a text description of each picture that the search engine sees and your viewer sees when they hover the mouse over the photo. You are so dependent on images that the search engines can't "read." The alt text should contain the key words that your customers are entering to find you such as "cotton lady's v-neck t-shirt with embroidered pocket" or "engraved glass awards" or "umbrella with your company logo". I don't know what your key words actually are, but you get the idea. To see an example, check out www.maverickhats.com and hover over any picture. I ask everyone who calls what key words they are entering and that's what I put on my pictures. It's time consuming but has paid off big for me in a short time. Intuit's SEO e-book is $50 well spent. There are many ideas in there to increase your traffic and they have worked well for me Another is increasing the text on the home page. I, too, had a home page with little text and lots of pictures. I'm about halfway through the e-book and my calls have quadrupled. Good luck. Love to have your feedback on my site too.

Please review my website, www.ceasarelpidioinsuranceagency.com and provide me feedback.

Thank you,

Ceasar
Dear Ceasar

....if I were sitting across from you I would first ask if yellow & turquoise were company colors...If they are not your company colors then they have to go as they are standard baby products/nursery theme colors. If they are your company colors or have to do with being located in Nevada then subtly incorporate them with very thin content borders or a southwest style graphic design....look online for" Free southwest borders or graphics" etc.

Suggest you add a white colored rectangle to your page, round the corners, enlarge to cover all content from top to bottom, then click MOVE BACKWARD button until this white color block is behind all your text & images.

Change your page (different than white rectangle you just added) background color to grey/blue.

You have a great insurance face and that picture alone will get you clients, but you are going to take the look up a notch to portray a professional image....

We recently began making my prostate cancer support forum known. I'd like some feedback.

Also any ideas what to expect in terms of hits. Currently averaging 230-275 per/week. I have no idea whether that's good or awful.

If you need additional pages, you can add another bundle of 10 pages for an additional $2 per month, or just upgrade to to the Gold/Business plan for $19.99, which will also provide you with more disk space and unlock a few other features in SiteBuilder.

If you don't need the extra pages, you can delete the unused pages by clicking on the "View Page" button. On the drop-down menu you'll see a small X which is the delete button for each page.

If you want to do one of the account upgrades instead, just let us know.
Thanks!

Hi pr2618,

I don't see your domain an site on our system so I'm guessing it's hosted somewhere else. The PR that you receive from Google really depends on the the overall quality and reputation of the site. Achieving a PR of 3 or 4 can be quite difficult and could take months (maybe even years). I've seen many sites with a PR of 1 which rank on the 1st page of Google. However if you are seriously adamant about reaching a PR of 3 or 4, I encourage you to learn as much as you possibly can about SEO and be diligent about the monthly maintenance.

As far as the appearance of your site goes, I think you did a very good job. The best way to get some honest feedback is from real customers. If you have time, take a few minutes to review other customers sites on this thread and ask them for their feedback in return.

Good Luck!

Mike

Im curious as to which pages Intuit built for you. So can I assume the main index was made by Intuit? To be honest, it's a very simple layout (kinda too simple) and I personally would have expected more with a custom build than what they gave you. I know that isn't cheap and if I would have paid for that service I would have demanded A LOT more than what they gave you. It looks amatuer to be honest. If that's what Intuit offers for a custom build then they could throw out 50 custom builds per day per person easily. Seems like a rip-off. Like I said the layout is fine and clean but there's nothing there that I would say "Wow, that was professionally designed". I'd more likely say..."Wow, nice colors, clean template, but someone put very little effort to keep me attracted".

Hope this helps. Just being honest.
