Tonight while answering emails I repeatedly received a message stating:
"Your session has expired.  You have to close this window.  Error ID: 904928598-(the next set of numbers changed every time.)  I didn't record the first 6 or 8 times it happened, but the last four times the numbers were:  2093414846, 2093083290, 2092794615, and 2092513226.  After that I received a message saying that I had to close the program and log in again, and the program closed itself.  Is that supposed to happen?  Why would a session expire?

This program is very slow to respond, not very flexible, has a number of odd quirks, and is frustrating to work with.  Please find something better.

Hi Jane9132,  It should not time out unless there's a period of inactivity.  If this happens again can you take a screenshot and post it here on the community and let us know which email address it occurred on?

Thanks Mike.  I actually tried to copy the message to send to you but the copy function wouldn't work.  I finally closed the connection and logged in again.  The message I was writing at the time was partially saved but I had to re-write most of it.  What exactly do you mean by a "screen shot"?  Should I take a photo, or is there another way?  Thanks. Depending on your version of Windows, there are several ways to take a screenshot. This page shows you a few: http://www.wikihow.com/Take-a-Screenshot-in-Microsoft-Windows

Just save the image to your computer and upload it here.

Thanks!  I tried the suggestions and found one that appears to work.  I will try to remember to do this next time and send it to you.

This is also happening to me. I wish I didn't have to wait until Monday to have a webpage or email.

Angie6924,  If you are having problems please tell us what domain/email address and the specific error messages you are getting.  it can be very helpful to include screenshots like mentioned above if possible.

The next time this happens, please take a screenshot that captures the message on the screen.

As far as the issue of not receiving an email, if you have a copy of that email in your yahoo account and you want to post it here (if it's not confidential), we can take a look at it and see if it was blocked by our spam filter.

Be sure to include the date, sending address, recipient address.

Is the screenshot you request different from the one I submitted above?

The email I referred to had a link to reset a password.  I can send it to you if that is a safe thing to do.
Thanks,
Jane

There was not any screenshot above. If you can get a screenshot and be sure to tell us the time and date it occurred that will help.

Mike, I can see the screen shot above.....but you can't?  It was posted 58 minutes ago - only a few minutes after it occurred.  The error message is in black on the upper right.  Usually I need to log off and back in to correct it.  Sometimes the refresh button will do it but I can't see the refresh button when a message is open.

No... that is strange.  I'll send you and email if you can reply an attach any screenshots. Also can you tell me how frequently this is happening?

Mike
