How To Create A Message Signature In Roundcube
note: If you plan to use HTML in your signature, you will also need to go the settings > preferences > composing and make sure you set HTML to always.
- Log in to your webmail account.
- Go to the Settings section of Roundcube.
- Click Identities (left side of screen).
- Click on the identity you want to create a signature for (you should have at least one by default).
- Use the interface provided to modify your signature.
- Click Save.

I am not getting the toolbar which allows me to modify my signature. That section is just a blank box.

I'm able to edit my signature, however, I do not want spaces in between each line. It's unsightly and unprofessional looking. where do I edit spacing preferences?

Instead of hitting enter between lines, hold the shift key down and hit enter. That will single space it for you.

Did you have 3 identities come over? As far as I know, there is one signature per identity, but currently we can't add or delete identities.

Yes I had three identities come over. I run a jewelry store so I had different identity signatures depending on the Job that was being done. I had just the generic for everyday, a custom for custom work, and render with disclosure.

I understand. Unfortunately, I did explain it poorly. You may have 1 signature per identity, but right now we are not able to add new identities, so there will not be a way to add another at this time.

No problem. I was just being hopeful!!! I guess i'll be happy that my main email has the multiple identities!! ;) Thank You, I always appreciate the quick responses.

You're welcome. You can use a client as stated above. Quite a few will offer multiple signatures and such. Hopefully we will have more support for multiple identities in the future.

Drew,
When I make my signature then go to compose. There is no color and there are hyphens at the beginning and end of each line. How do I keep my name in color and remove those hyphens?

Yes, I do have that marked. If I remove it the color on the screen goes away and it reverts to a default on the screen so that's why I've left it check marked.
Then when I go to compose, the color signature is there, but the address lines have the hyphens still.

This is how I would like the signature to look, however now it won't do blue
for his name and when composing I was able to remove the hyphens before and after all of the address, but they are still showing in front of and behind his name.

You have the HTML signature checked, but not the setting I mentioned above. You must also compose messages in HTML, currently you have that set to never.
