How do i redo our website while keeping the original site active until i am finished revamping it? I do not want a "new" site, i just want to redo the old one.

The best way is to make a new site. Create the new site and begin building it with Websitebuilder. Your old site will be unaffected and still available for editing. When the new site is done, then move the domain to the new site.
You can on the old site make new pages and then rename them all when done so the take the place of the old, but you can't update the template without eliminating the content, so the new site is the best method. Also, you will get the newest templates and editor. It will make a more modern site for you.

Thank you so much.   How will the new site, once i get it changed over, effect my duda mobile site?
I have it set so they do not sync but they do sync every now and then for some reason.

The new Websitebuilder does not require Dudamobile. The mobile site is created automatically by the builder. You can also edit the mobile site in the editor.

Dudamobile actually would sometimes scrape the live site and update the content on the mobile automatically.
