abuse@actaculinaria.com  Are they a SCAM artist? They're requesting I give them payment to register my domain name by midnight, tonight. They're claiming this (my initial notif) is my final notice. They're requesting I register my domain with them for a one or five year period acostt their listed fee costs, and with a web address called "abuse@actaculinaria.com", i'm a little skeptical.

Hi John:

I would say it's a Scam, If it's not from your registrar such as Homestead don't respond.

That does sound like a scam email. We will never send you an email requesting money to keep your domain. The price of domain registration is built into your normal Homestead bill.

Thank you, Elyzabeth.  That's kind of what I was thinking. 'Maine Hosting' and 'Network Depot' had some good advice on watching out for these guys. I tried reporting it to the FTC, but found it very difficult to file on their online support page.  These guys, out of India, go by http://delhiportafine.com and request you submit your registration fees to ne-new to abuse@actaculinaria.com.
Go figure!
