Hi folks... need your assistance. I just installed a button on my home page and linked it to a document I uploaded. However when I went to test the link in preview mode a box came up indicating the editor would not open the document and asked if I wanted to open it anyway. How can I get this box not to come up and have the document open directly? Thanks

Hello,

There is not a way to avoid this in preview mode, it is in place to avoid automatically opening the document in the same tab and overriding any unsaved content. This however will not happen on the live published website.

Thanks... in live mode it no longer comes up in the format it does in preview but whether on desktop or mobile device a question comes up.... what do you want to do with (document name.doc) from googleapis.com. Can I do something to just have the sheet come up without this question on desktop and a similar question (do you want to download) on mobile device. THANKS
