PUBLISHING TAKES A LONG TIME

It used to take 10 seconds to publish on homestead but for the last couple of months it is taking 4 to 5 minutes or sometimes it just goes in circles and never publishes so I have to reload the page.  This is making my publishing a very long and tedious job.  Any suggestions.  (By the way I have not changed my computer it's the same one I've had for the last two years)

You are using the old Homestead desktop software. Try SB+ or step up to the new Websitebuilder software.

Hi John:

It seems there is a problem with Homestead, everyone is having difficulty's with the system not updating after saving and publishing. Call 1-800-710-1998 on Monday morning.

I would be happy with 5 minutes....Mine is 5 hours and still not published.  Help!

There is no one answer to an issue like this as people use different builders.

John, which site? One of your sites is huge. The size of that would definitely slow down the publishing process significantly.

No my site is not huge...Right now the publishing is fairly fast so it seems that it is an intermittent problem...I will keep an eye on it to see what happens....Thanks for your comments!

Ok. I know which one you are working on now. The other one does consume more than 1GB of space, which is a very large site. Let us know if you see this again.

This is happening to our site frequently also
Loading, saving and publishing for our website has become slower and slower and either does not finish resulting in having to do the same edits multiple times, or it takes 5-10 minutes to save and/or publish the changes.

We've recently expanded the number of pages significantly.  Is this size increase the cause of the problem, and if so what is the solution, because right now editing the site is not useful in any way.

It didn't last long.  Doing the same thing again.  Is this on your side or something I'm doing that is causing an issue.
