As I approach completion of my new WebsiteBuilder website I am very nervous about signing off on my old SiteBuilder Plus site (which still works well for us) until I have seen how the new one actually looks and operates "live". Can I publish the new site using .homesteadcloud.com and then when I am satisfied change it over to our old URL?

There is not an "unpublish" option with Website Builder, but unless someone knows your .homesteadcloud.com site name, it is unlikely that you will get traffic to that site.

Might it be found through keyword search? With all my image captions there are LOTS of keywords.

It depends on how long you have that site up. Most likely not after a week or two, but if you have it up for months, it might be able to be found via keyword searches.
