The file manager is under your url. The properties manager is your page editor on the right side of the page.

I have looked this up for the past 2 hours. The file manager is not located where you say. This is one reason why homestead will be kicked out of my door. Bad support, bad design, and bad support.

Image below shows where the File Manager is located. As for the Properties Manager, click on something on your page the PM will open to the right and will be the specific Manager for that particular element - Click on text box and text editor opens, etc. If that doesn't work for you then you need to post back so the Tech guys can help you.

THIS IS AT THE TOP RIGHT ON YOUR EDITING PAGE

kevinbrowncv605401, If you are working on the new site that uses the new editor, there is not a file manager at this point.

If you are working on the older site, then it is available as the picture above shows.
how can I get the older version of the builder so that i can get into file manager

lifesabeachcattery5414, you have 2 sites. One is Sitebuilder Plus and one is Websitebuilder. They can't be interchanged. Unfortunately Websitebuilder does not have a file manager at this time.

Any idea when this might be implemented into the new websitebuilder? Seems to me it is pretty important to be able to delete documents no longer used or possibly duplicated using up wasted space. Sorry I know I have asked this before as have many others. Thanks.

All the documents and images you import into the new websitebuilder can be found by clicking on Elements then click on either Images or Files. Each of those open listing the content and you can delete what you don't want.

That was a quick reply! Thanks. Kind of a round-about way of getting there, but definitely good to know.

It's different for sure, but I've found it more useful than the old file managers. You can set up folders for each topic or page and it shows which of them have been linked and also which have actually been used on the site.

Unfortunately, there is no ETA at this time, but Susan's method will work for now.
