I'm using SiteBuilder Plus and when I change the link color and visited link color under page settings, it wont' update to the new color when I republish the page.
This problem is occurring on all of my page on website: http://www.cathyginter.com/

Cathy what colors should we be seeing?

The new colors should be: Link color 9c6b1c; Visted color e6d197 which are shades of brown and gold

The old colors are dark and light blue which is what still shows up when I both preview and republish the entire site.

To keep it simple the new link colors should match the colors in my navigation bars (top and bottom).

Have you tried a refresh? F5 may solve your dilemma.

If your settings look like the ones in the image below the simple answer might be you need to refresh the page in your browser. Just click the F5 button on the top row of your keyboard. If that doesn't do it then the Techs will probably need to take a look - Monday.

You've probably already tried resetting them in the Page Settings, but if not give that a try as well.

Thanks, but I created the entire site from a blank page so I know all of the settings. I also have refreshed the page. The problem is clearly not on my end.

Hi Cathy, There is a simple software I use to get the correct color it is  instant-eyedropper.com after the download it will be found in your system tray. Just drag and drop over the color you want and the color numbers appear in the box attached. I have been using this for years.

You don't understand. When I go to background, links and footer under page settings, both Link Style colors are listed exactly the way I want them to be. They are also correct on the sitebuilder editor page. It is only when I republish the site that the colors won't update.

And just to be clear, I had no problems updating the color of my background or the navigation bars.

I've experienced the same thing. After saving and publishing several times the changes finally appeared.

Yep... me too. I have always changed link colour and visited colour in SB+ but recently it defies any setting I try and remains the same.....

I trust the techs will look into this glitch and fix it soon. We have the right to choose the link colors we want so that our sites look professional and integrated.

I will be trying again later, but I agree. I will post my findings on this link if it still refuses to change.

I opened a site I have in Plus and changed the link colors several times with no issues. I used the color picker and also typed the hex code in and both worked. And used default colors - that worked as well. I just wasn't able to replicate the issue you all are having.
A wise man once told me that if you keep hitting brick walls close the computer down, not just reset, and try again.

Susan, did you publish the site afterwards? As I mentioned, I can change the link colors without issue. It just won't publish them.

Yes, published it after every change I made and it was fine.

Susan, I'm glad it is working okay for you. Regardless, I've been dealing with this glitch on my site for over a week now, and it remains an issue that I cannot solve on my end.

Well, I must confess I tried again this evening. Page settings, links, changed to what I wanted, Saved, previewed. Nothing changed!!!!! F5,? Nope, back to page, reset, previewed !!!!!!! all changed as required @+$*£"...Not a clue why Cathy.. but one thing noticed was this. My link was contained within other text and I had the edit box around it.. The last attempt I clicked outside the text box so it cleared, then changed the link settings and saved, previewed? I cannot see why that should make a difference, not even sure it did...but not about to play with it any more, (if it aint broke I aint gonna fix it) Good luck

Hi all. Cathy, in this case look to your Page settings > Advanced. In the head section you have CSS code that sets the link color. This code will override the other setting. You can edit the colors in the code, or just remove that particular snippet to resolve the issue.
