I have just finished creating a page for my site. However, when I go to preview the page in website builder, the page looks very different, showing pictures I have not chosen, and in the wrong places. Why is this happening? How can I fix this problem?

Hello ,

I just compared the preview for every page of the site to what is in the builder, and they look identical to me. Most of the content is not published, so if you are trying to view the published page, it would not work.
Which page specifically are you referring to?

Elyzabeth,

Thank You, I was able to fix that problem. I did have another question. Specifically on my "Wigs" page, is there a way for me to fix the pictures on the top row of my photo gallery from being cut off on the top? Any suggestions?

You would either need to edit all images you have in that gallery, outside of the builder, to be the same height. They also would need to not be too tall. This is why it is cutting off. Or, another option is to use individual images, instead of a gallery.
Lastly, this is not a problem on our newer builder. If you were to think about rebuilding your site in the newer platform, you would not have to deal with this limitation. It would also improve your site by making it a mobile friendly, responsive, and a more updated site.

Elyzabeth,

How would I go about using this newer platform you are telling me about. Is there a way to transfer my site over from the old builder to the new one? Or would I have to essentially rebuild my site from scratch?

You would need to build the site from scratch, there is not a way to transfer content. I do highly recommend looking into it, it creates better looking sites than are possible with Sitebuilder Plus. You would just need to go under Websites Manager in your Homestead account and click "Add New Website". It will automatically be created in the newer builder, and you can build your site in the background while the old site is still up. Then, when you are done building the site, we can switch the domain over and there will be minimal down time.
