I am trying to point my website to www.lavoirbathhouse.com but right now it is pointing to www.lavoirbathhouse.homestead.com.  How do I change it to point to www.lavoirbathhouse.com?

Well, its kind of right. You point your domain to your website address which, by default, is a .homestead URL.. Whoever is pointing your domain should have a masking option which will show your domain name in the address bar when a visitor arrives at your website. Your lavoirbathhouse.homestead  comes up... Great header btw. but I keep getting page not found when clicking on your domain name... recheck your redirection ( pointing )

So how do I get my domain pointed to the lavoirbathhouse.com instead of the lavoirbathhouse.homestead.com?

Michelle, your website address is www.lavoirbathhouse.homestead.com but your domain name is lavoirbathhouse.com  So, search engines and customers will look for www.lavoirbathhouse.com and your domain host will redirect clicks on lavoirbathhouse.com to where the website is hosted..which is on Homestead's severs.. your.homestead address. So you point ( redirect) your domain name to www.lavoirbathhouse.homestead.com

Goodness that explanation confused me and I wrote it !!!!. Hmm. OK lets try this.. You have just moved house and you want to tell all your friends your new address. You new address is in Homestead (road) ( your homestead address) Your friends will address their letters to "Michelle"( your domain name) at ( your homestead address)  So the analogy is, your domain name is your website name that your customers see and your website address is at Homestead. So you point your domain name to your website address on Homestead.

Now you want your domain name to appear in the address bar above your website minus the .homestead tag so you have to mask it.. that option should be with the settings from your domain name host.  Hope that helped a bit...but let me know :)

It looks like the subdomain redirect was causing it to loop in a circle. I have removed this, and your website should begin to populate shortly by just the domain name.
