To Homestead:

I know my words are small in comparison to your company however, I have been a client with this company for seven years and have brought several websites to Homestead. I would like for you to reconsider discontinuing site builder desktop. I personally feel editing online take longer while in edit mode. I personally do not find the online version to be very user friendly. I do not see the options for editing for online verses what i used on site-builder desktop. If they are to be the same I have to say my personal experience says otherwise. Also, online editing I feel takes me longer as I notice I can only open one page at a time and that I tend to run into issues while in edit form of having the item I am working on actually allowing me to edit. I personally do not find online editing to be very user friendly. I again will state that I so hope you reconsidered discontinuing site-builder desktop as I find it more user friendly than online AND while I have other reasons site-builder desktop is to me one major option that has made my experience with homestead a pleasant one.
Thank-You

I will change this to an idea, so more of the right people will see it for future reference.

I do want to say that while each new version of Windows brings with it challenges, we do not have any plans to discontinue the desktop version of Sitebuilder, at this time. We continue to try to keep all options open for our customers.

Thanks

Drew

I totally agree with nancy2368. I have been a Homestead user for many years and just recently went to update one of my websites. I couldn't even cut and paste copy or edit full paragraphs without the site jumping around. This new version is not user friendly and worse then Godaddy's web builder. I want the old desktop version that would let me use layers and slices and most important provide one click editing.

I COMPLETELY Agree with these folks. SO hard to use compared to the desktop tool. I am SO frustrated with the way it randomly picks up boxes and will not let me put them down, even if I try and tell the coordinates for the box. I abandoned my site for a while due to this difficulty but my audience is asking for fresh content so I have been trying again but am again so frustrated. Please bring back the desktop tool or fix the web-based tool. I have several sites with you too and I'm terrified to make changes.
