Please... Please... Please.... get me onto the new platform..... the amount of spam is getting out of hand!!!!

The tons of spam email each day is getting worse not better. Please hurry up and get me on the new platform!!!!

We are working diligently to get everyone's accounts upgraded as quickly as possible. So far we've only done a small percent as there is a lot of quality testing occurring to make sure all emails, contacts and address books transfer over as intended. Once all of the testing checks out and systems are successfully migrating without any loss of data, the process will be drastically accelerated.

My patience is running thin...this is my only email source and I am now being juried into shows and am unable to get messages and today my front screen seems to be frozen and not usable at all...

Hi Jane5629, Can you explain with some detail what is wrong. Even though we are working an email platform upgrade, you should still be able to receive emails, and there is nothing that should be freezing your screen.

Mike my responses are being removed for some reason. I have not received emails for a day and ahalf...the other problem I solved as Explorer 11 was downloaded and was not compatible at this time...but I really need my email...

Ok, I found it. You created a filter to clean the spam. The problem is the condition you placed. You entered the subject matter to filter, but the condition does not match exactly. What that meant is, that if the the subject did not read exactly the words you enter then it would discard the message.

I adjusted the filter to stop doing that.

This link will show you how to reset your password for the email.

Unfortunately yes. All that mail was discarded. I am sorry that the holidays got in our way or it would have been much quicker.

Drew, one last question...I woke up to over 40 nasty spams again...Is the spam control going to start working soon or what should I do? I guess the last time I tried to do that it goofed it all up so won't touch that again! ha! Thanks!

Our agents can help you with creating filters that will help, but the migration to the new email platform should solve the problem. Right now, I can't tell you exactly when you are to be done.

My patience has run out with all the SPAM. I am proud to say that I have begun the process of moving ALL my websites and email accounts to Webs.com. Sad to see Homestead going down the tubes, I have been a customer since the beginning and the day you sold to Intuit everything has been hell and now I am hearing you are going back to being just Homestead and not part of Intuit however the damage is done.

Yeah, I'm sorry to add to this pile... But, we too are being inundated with trash mail (including a fair amount with pornographic photos) which is just not acceptable, all from relatively common sources. Moreover, we are learning that a number of sent client audio files are NOT BEING RECEIVED! Business files that don't make it to the other end is quite troubling as you can imagine.
Everything was fine until a couple of months ago. We truly wish you would go back to whatever systems you had in place then.

I intend for this to be constructive in helping you resolve the issues.

We understand, but we can't go back to the old system. Do you log into the Zimbra web client? If not, please log in at http://mail.homesteadmail.com. In the top right you will see the mailbox name. Under that is a colored line. If it is red, then your box is full and needs to have some messages deleted and the trash emptied. This could explain why attachments are not getting through.

When do you expect the spam mail to stop? It seemed that it slowed down, but now is back with a vengeance, worse than before. This is so out of control. I have really been patient, but that is wearing very thin now, especially since we seem to be getting no answers.
Could you just tell us what is really going on???

Hi jackie0575,  We've notified the email admins that there seems to be a spike in spam for some people.  If this is still happening let me know.  If you are still having the problem, and the emails are still in the Zimbra system we may need to look into your account with your permission. Let us know how many you are getting per hour if it has not  slowed down.

Yes, I am still having this problem. seems to be worse every day. You have my permission to go into my Zimbra account. Whatever it takes to fix it! I get at least 10 to 15 per hour!

There were some adjustments made. We want to be sure you are not getting any legitimate emails flagged as spam. If you see any legitimate email go directly to your spam folder, or possibly marked with [SPAM] let me know.

Well the change occurred, and now my all my client emails are marked SPAM and the sender gets a bounce-back that his/her email is undeliverable as SPAM. The cure for your problems is far worse poison, my business is in lock-up as a result.
