I verified my email address a few minutes ago and my website and email are still down. What else do I need to do? Please help. People are calling me wondering why they can't get to my website.

Hi Kim,

Let me check to make sure it verified but while it usually reactivates within an hour, it can take up to 48 hours in rare cases.

The .com is un-suspended, but the .org and .net are not. If you change those to the same email as the .com, then you probably won't have to re-verify. They will see that address has already been verified. Unfortunately, you will have to wait for the domain to reactivate.

One of my sites is spreading mal-ware. My sweeper identified it and I have had a couple people tell me it gave them mal-ware. The site is www.WhoDunIt247.com
How is this possible? Does homestead have mal-ware?
Please tell me how to remove it. Peggy1878

Hi Peggy1878,

We do not distribute any mal-ware. In fact the only thing that is distributed from your site is what you have placed there.

Sometimes security software will get a false positive, or if they have an outdated version of Java and you have elements that use Java, that could trigger a message.

I would need to know more before I can look to any other answers. What program is generating the message and at what point does it occur?

Ok. I changed the .net and .org to the same email address. But I try to access www.premierhavanesedogs.com and it takes me to the Dlink page. It still doesn't allow access. Do you know why?

Unfortunatey it doesn't happen immediately. They essentially removed the DNS records, so now it has to propagate again. This will normally occur within an hour or so, but can take up to 48 hours.

When did you change the .com?

I received the verification email at 11:01 am EST. So I will give it a little time. Is there anyway you can get the .com site to work sooner? I'm not so worried about the .net and .org. But the .com site where I generate my business from.

Thank you so much for the quick responses. I was thinking about leaving and joining a new website developer, but not anymore. The customer service is outstanding....especially given this a Sunday.

You're very welcome. I wish I could make it faster, but propagation takes time. The DNS change has to work it's way around to all the DNS servers throughout the world. There may be places where it is already working, it just depends on when they update.
