PinIt Button in BC posting wrong Link when Option Set present

The PinIt Button on Product Detail pages (BC Storefront) is pulling the wrong product link when Product Option Set is present.

This is happening specifically:
  1. In the Watch Category (11th in left navigation)
  2. When an Option Set to 'Choose Face' is present
PinIt Button is posting the URL Link for first Face in List Choice instead of the actual Product URL.

(Facebook/Google+/Twitter appear to all be pulling the correct product link).

I believe the PinIt button has been performing this way for some time but it was never quite so obvious until Pinterest changed their format recently for these rich pins.

Please investigate asap - spent hours correcting what I could find but that does not help when others make the pin.

Not yet.  Bigcommerce has told us that they have a note for the dev team to take a look.  We'll let you know when we hear more.

I realize it is late on Friday but it has been some time now and still no update.  Although this issue mostly effects the Category products mentioned above, in reality I realized today it is happening with all Products that have an Option Set where Customer must 'Choose' an Option.

It is in the queue to be addressed, but I am told very few non critical deployments are done at this time of year, so I am not sure we will see it until after the shopping season.

I understand that. It was a response to the thanks for the update. Unfortunately, we don't control the release schedule for the store, which we didn't with Prostores either. I do, however, understand their reluctance to release things at this time of year unless absolutely necessary.

FYI...appears BC has corrected this issue (tested a number of products and so far so good).
