Hello,

What email address are you sending from? If the receiving email server is rejecting the email, you may need to send the header of that email to their email support team to have them white-list or clear your email for communication.

Also, I'm not sure I would know how to 'make sure my 'mx records are up to date? I'm not an IT person, I wouldn't know that was out out of date...some guidance here would be appreciated.

Is there a way to send you a screen shot of what our client's IT team sent us?

You would want to log into your cloudflare account and compare the mx records to the ones in the article. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/dns-records-for-homestead-email
Yes, you can upload the screen shot here.

Cloudflare is a third party SSL certificate provider. The domain name is currently being routed through cloudflare, so we would want to check the mx records there. Do you recall setting that account up?

Not at all. I use a MAC. Is it a MAC based thing or something that would have been set up with Homestead? Either way, please help remove whatever is blocking/blacklisting our email. We are missing important correspondence with clients. Can you fix this on your end, or do we need to do this over the phone with you? And are you sure that's the source of the issue? Why would our account be blacklisted and how do we remove it?

This is not mac or windows based, it is something done with the domain name. I do not see anything being blocked on our end. It shows all emails from info@theanikafoundation.org are being released. If the emails are being blocked from the receiving server, the receiving end would need to clear this line of communication.
I recommended checking the mx records because sometimes older ip address do get blocked by some servers. These are the mx records that need to be present.

mx            yourdomain             66.96.142.50
mx            yourdomain             66.96.142.51
mx            yourdomain             66.96.142.52
pop           yourdomain             66.96.135.134
imap         yourdomain             66.96.135.134
smtp         yourdomain             66.96.135.134
mail          yourdomain             66.96.135.134
webmail    yourdomain            66.96.135.48
email        yourdomain             66.96.135.48

If you need Homestead to assist with checking these records you can definitely call into support and we would be happy to assist and investigate further.

My mx all 3 match----------but there is another mx at the bottom with an exclamation point & it says mx.my domain.com instead of one of the numbers--the excl. says this is leaving me vulnerable to denial of service.
And then
my imap   smtp   pop  mail  all four have the wrong last 3 digits
& then a text one that says
v=spf1 ip4:38.113.1.0/24 ip4:38.113.20.0/24 ip4:65.254.224.0/19 ?all

Hello Kim,

The email records in Cloudflare should reflect these.

ok I did that....now it says I need to change my nameservers.

When I follow instructions it tells me that my domain reseller--Homestead--must make these changes.
