payment info updated, still got an email about my account being suspended

I updated my payment info, and according to my bank the charge for my site went through 3 days ago. why am I still getting an email about my account being suspended??
When I log back in the change in expiration date doesn't seem to be saving

The account is still past due. We have not received payment since 9/30. Your bank might have seen the $1 hold that is applied to the account when a card is verified, but no charge has gone through. If you have updated the payment information and are sure it is all correct, and the payment is still not going through, you would need to either try a different card, or troubleshoot this will your bank. Otherwise, our system will automatically attempt to collect payment again in a few days.
