Alas I think that this is something that was also left out of the new builder. You might try the following code using the embed HTML widget. You would change the "let me in" to your own password and the "protectpage.html" to the page you are wanting to protect. I haven't tried it so ............

<SCRIPT>
function passWord() {
var testV = 1;
var pass1 = prompt('Please Enter Your Password',' ');
while (testV < 3) {
if (!pass1)
history.go(-1);
if (pass1.toLowerCase() == "letmein") {
alert('You Got it Right!');
window.open('protectpage.html');
break;
}
testV+=1;
var pass1 =
prompt('Access Denied - Password Incorrect, Please Try Again.','Password');
}
if (pass1.toLowerCase()!="password" & testV ==3)
history.go(-1);
return " ";
}
</SCRIPT>
<CENTER>
<FORM>
<input type="button" value="Enter Protected Area" onClick="passWord()">
</FORM>
</CENTER>

Hi custom9191, we do not have this feature built inside of the new builder, but you can certainly take susan2829's recommendation and see if that works for you.

You might also want to take a look at http://www.authpro.com/ for password protection that integrates into your site using the embed HTML option. Or at least it should, but not sure about this new website builder and how it is responding to embedded HTML.

I have been using the desktop site builder for 15 years now that I have it mastered, now I have to learn the new builder.

I am trying to protect a products page so that only my customers can see it.

I can not find the area to insert the code so I can try it. the old site builder has an advanced option for each page, this builder does not.

So where do I insert the code?

Thank you for your help.

There is not a built in option at this time. I have not tested any 3rd party options yet either, so I am not able to say if it will work or not.

If you have the code for password protect then you can add it by clicking on ADD in the left hand menu then click WIDGETS then EMBED HTML. A BIG box opens and click on the blue 'embed html' then paste your code. You can then resize the box and drag it to wherever you want it on the page.
