For the past three days I have received complaints that one of my web sites is very slow to load.  At first it appeared to be a problem with Internet Explorer as visitors had no problem with Chrome.  I had no problem with Firefox.  Received more complaints today.  When I tried to open www.americanbuckskin.org it was very slow.  Any suggestions?

Pretty slow, I tried around four different pages, took ~ 10 to 12 seconds for the pages to fully render.

I think Homestead must be having server problems.  This appeared at the top of the page when I refreshed to view Martin's reply to my original post.

It appears the coding that's inside of the HTML-1 snippet might be causing an issue. Can you try publishing the index page without this and see if it loads any faster?

Removed the SiteMeter HTML code and re-published.  No difference.

Can you remove the HTML snippet, then publish your Index page from File Manager for me? When I tried to reload, but I can still see the HTML-1 snippet is loading.

It looks like there is some HTML code that is trying to load "counter.js?site=s36AmericanBuckskin" that is timing out.

It is removed and republished.  Try it again and let me know if it loads as it should now.

Tried a different page and it worked great.  Will remove that code from each page.

It does appear that it was the SiteMeter.com code which was causing the problem.  It was a good service when it worked but has been off and on for the past few years.  It's gong now from this site and the SiteMeter web site won't load at all so maybe  they called it quits.  Thanks all for your assistance.
