My account was converted to the new email platform and now my contact groups in my address book are missing. Where are they?

1. To locate your migrated contacts and contact groups, first click on the Contacts icon as shown in the image below.



2. Your contact groups will be listed with the rest of your contacts, labeled as "Contact Group,<ContactGroupName>"



3. To view the list of emails in this contact group, double click on the Contact Group that you want to view and click on the "Private" tab.





NOTE: The migration process was not able to convert contact groups to the new platform in the same format, so in order to send an email to a contact group, you will need to copy and paste the list of emails from the Comments section on the Private tab.

Why did I loose half of my contacts from my contact list????? This is very very upsetting as this effects my business very much!!! I have lost contacts that I have had for three years including my actual business partners and employees!! So I can only imagine how many more I have lost. I suggest that you allow all customer that have not been converted yet to save their contacts prior to the switch and that you let them know that you can NOT truly guarantee them that you will not loose any of their contacts!!!! Very very upset and I have been a homestead customer for over five years!

I too have lost my contacts in a usable format. It shows 437 but no info comes up. The address is gloria@gloriousyoga.com Your instructions above do not work

I have no contacts listed for nancy@peasleypottery.com, and I can hardly use the new email system without it constant stating ERROR session has expired...even after only 30 seconds of using it. I do not like this new system at all. It's the first time in years of being with Homestead that I am considering leaving for another provider. All my business contacts are gone....it is hindering my business, not acceptable.

I do the steps above and it shows me that no one is in my contacts???  jcballerteamupdates@jcballersusa.com is the email and on the website the distribution list is gone.... What?!?  I had a ton of emails in there and now it shows there is no one in the distribution list.

Just a heads up. Go to your sent box and manually add all contacts by hand right clicking on email: add to contacts. Migrating doesn't always work.

I have lost every single business contact and their folder of information in this change over process. These folders contain vital information of confirmation emails on projects we reference for our clients. I don't understand how you can impact our business' in such a negative way with this change over. Your info on here is not working because I am showing 0 contacts and have customers waiting on confirmations. To make things better I responded to an email this morning and the customer asked me who I was so evidently my company signatures are gone as well. This is what I wanted today waking up with a full calendar of customers today and several email to send out and no one or where to send them. This makes my company look very professional. Sorry for the issue that you are having. It is possible for us to do a re-migration, but you may want to give us a call and let one of our agents log into look at the account to be 100% sure the data is missing. We don't want to remigrate unless we really have to as it will override other newer information. Call us at 800-710-1998

To clarify, are you saying that none of your contacts migrated over? If so reply her to confirm, and I'll request a re-migration for you.

Our contact list populated into the new platform for our main email address. However, I do not have any contacts in my accout (amy@chameleongymnastics.com). I did find a folder under my Inbox labeled Contacts. It appears that they are all in there listed as individual emails. How do I get my contacts to populate?

Also, where did Spell Check go?

No spell check? Really? How can an email system not have spell check?

Auto-fill doesn't really matter if I don't have any contacts. Can you please re-migrate the contacts for amy@chameleongymnastics.com?

Hello Sharon3094, We are not seeing any errors in the contacts migrated. The old box had 398 contacts, can you confirm how many are in the new box, or reply her and give us permission to change the password and take a look?

They should be in the location shown above, unless you are referring to the mailing lists that were stored on the Homestead site, rather than in the Zimbra web client.

If you really are missing contacts that were stored in the Zimbra system, and they don't appear where shown above, let us know and we'll look at the old account and re-migrate if necessary.

They did not appear. They were on Zimbra. ALL my email contacts for my business are gone. I tried the graphic above, unfortunately it does not appear as above....there is no contact group.... This has really disrupted my business, I need someone to contact me directly nancy@peasleypottery.com .....this mess isn't working for me and it is inefficient and wasting my time....meanwhile, my business is at a virtual standstill because I have no email addresses!

Please look into:

administration@froggiefrontier.com and joellefaulkner@froggiefrontier.com I can view SOME of my contact lists, but it doesn't really do me any good, because it doesn't pop these lists up when I go to send out an email. When I click on the "to" or "cc" button when I'm sending an email it brings up only about 10 random emails (with NO names listed) not any of my contact groups. I've tried copying and pasting. I've read your "help" topics and followed the steps. I tried recreating a contact group (and yes I did save it) but again it's not popping up, not does it appear in the alphabetical listing when I view the contacts.

I am extremely frustrated with the amount of time I've spent on this. Perhaps my time will be better spent researching a different provider.

From the other messages on here, I'm not alone. This is really impacting businesses and you need to figure out how to resolve these issues.

I can try to migrate the contacts again and the calendars, but if anything was manually added, they will be erased.

I have lost all my mass email contacts. Your popup says they were sent to me in a spreed sheet. I never received them. info@aurorahistoricalsociety.com
This was the email section we used all the time. There were 3 mas lists, over 300 emails.

Hello Robert8950, We just checked the old account and you did not have any contacts saved in the old system. There may be some confusion with the old system's auto-fill feature that would remember email addresses from people you've emailed before, but that data is not stored in a field that was transferable.

Julie1613, Are you referring to to contacts that were stored in the old Zimbra webmail client, or, were you using the List Manager on the Homestead website?

Also, I see there are four email addresses on the account. If it's just addresses that were in the Zimbra system, is it just the one account for info@nmclinfo.com?

Yes-just the one account. My group emails: I used an email lists that appeared in "manage email".

Drew and Mike, thank you for all your help, I am in contact with your executive management and we are working on a solution. It has been and still a long hull, but at least I am seeing a light at the end of this long tunnel.
You have both been great and I thank you for putting up with my anger. It is so very frustrating, upsetting, disappointing all this is going on after being with you for many years with this company and with a prior company.
