Out of the blue, all of the emails I've sent on my iPhone are not showing up in the "Sent" folder.

I am an attorney, and have regularly sent emails from my iPhone. The emails i've sent on my iPhone have always shown up in the "Sent" folder (with the little paper airplane arrow). I just went into the "Sent" folder today to confirm that I had sent an email last week from my iphone, and it says "No Mail." As an attorney, I am very concerned about all of my previously sent mail from my iPhone not showing up.

The emails I've sent from my computer are showing up in the "Sent Items" folder (both online and on my phone), but all of my previous emails I've sent specifically from my iPhone are nowhere to be found. They are neither in the "Sent" folder (with the little paper airplane arrow where they always were) or the "Sent Items" folder.

My email on my iPhone is set up as IMAP. I tried deleting the account and inputting the email accounts again, and nothing. I also tried going to Mail > account > advanced > mailbox behaviors, and making sure the check mark was checked off, but my previous emails are still nowhere to be found.

I do have an iPad, but my iPhone is the only device set up to my email accounts (Both of my law offices email accounts are through homestead. I have 2 different emails through homestead, and they are both set up the exact same way on my iPhone).

Software 7.0.6 (I know its outdated) and iPhone 5.

As I said, my biggest concern right now is locating all of my previously sent emails from my iPhone. Please Help.

Typically, by default the iphone maps sent items to a local folder, and you need to go to the advanced configuration to map the sent items from the phone to the server folder. I don't know what happens with an iphone when you delete the account. You may need to check with Apple. If I am correct about the mapping and those emails were local, removing the account may have removed that local folder. I don't know that is the case, but it is possible.

Take a look at this topic, https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/how_do_i_set_up_imap_email_for_iphone_ipad and start at step 5 to see where it is mapped. Again, I would contact Apple to see what happens to local folders when an account is removed. They may still be sitting in a folder.

Drew, Thanks for the response. I should have mentioned that I tried the advanced configuration 1st/right away. It showed all emails i had sent from my computer, but it still did not show any of my past emails that I had sent from my iPhone. As I said, I was able to access the emails i had sent from my computer even before the advanced configuration, but I still cannot find a single email i've sent from my iPhone anywhere.

If it was mapped per the link I sent, they should be there, as once on the server, they need to be deleted to be gone. If you never saw them when logged in to the computer, then it seems there is a configuration off somewhere. What kind of computer and do you use the webmail? or a program to check email?

If you use webmail, then you should always have seen messages sent from the phone in the Sent Objects folder, right above spam. If both Macbook and iphone were set up exactly the same, the messages should all be in there. This is the only condition in which I have seen iPhone sent mail, not display on the server via webmail.

This is website I use to log on to my email from my computer. I'm not sure if this is the "webmail" you reference or not.
