When our Foundation website was recently shot down with lots of strange characters by your company techs and I had to spend hours cleaning it up, we were given some $$ Intuit credit for my time. Will this carry over to Homestead to fund our website for many more months or does it get shot down, too? Will Intuit have any more to do with the website at all?

Actually the credit was issued by Homestead. Intuit has not had an active role for several months now.  There have been, and will possibly be more hiccups as we continue the transition but as a company we will continue to do what is fair and reasonable.

I have been reading many post about the Intuit/Homestead relationship. I currently have a site with Homestead and am starting a new retail business and need to make a new web site. Who bought Homestead? What financial backing does the company have?

The company that purchased Homestead is called Endurance International Group and is dedicated to web hosting. They are based in Massachusetts. Now that we are almost finished transitioning out of Intuit, you should begin to see the improvements, that are planned, begin to roll out.
