I've officially been on hold with Homestead for 29 minutes and counting ... Not even a human voice yet to tell me sorry for the long wait or an automated message saying anything.

This is the 2nd call I've made today with NO SUCCESS!!
Shame on you HOMESTEAD!!

What the heck has happened to your excellent service when I signed up years ago??
This is highly unacceptable!

I am sorry for the crowds. Monday morning tends to be a busy time since we are not open on weekends. I am guessing you got through as the current longest home time is 20 minutes. If you did not, feel free to post your question here. We have some very helpful customers here, and I am here as well.

I built a site for my friend and pointed his domain to my design on homestead. I am no longer managing this and would like to transfer ftp to his new designer.

Which site is it? Unfortunately, Homestead does not operate FTP servers. I'll look at the site and see what options we have.
