Not receiving emails

Several people have told me that they have sent emails to me - particularly last month. I did not receive these emails. How do I change settings so that I do not keep missing important emails. Thanks.

Are you just thinking you missed a couple emails but other than that, had no issues receiving, or are you not getting any emails?

If you are receiving emails, but not getting a certain persons emails, usually it is that email or domain that is being blocked and we would need more specific information about what email address it is coming from and preferably the email source.

Two specific people have told me that they have sent me emails and I did not receive emails from them. I am getting other emails. Its hard to tell how pervasive of a problem this is and how many are being blocked.

So if you can provide me the email addresses you have not been able to receive from, I can see if I can see why (if they are being blocked as spam) Basically it isn't a Homestead email issue, but the domain names attached to the email have a bad reputation/have been flagged for spam and that is why they are blocked.

If you need to have more control over the spam filter, we unfortunately would not be able to provide that capability.

You would need to look into a different email service. We provide a very basic email solution. We cannot get into spam filter editing, it is a blanket filter applied to all emails.


I just looked and no emails from john.bosse@state.ma.us to your email have come through in the past 3 months. They haven't even been blocked as spam, it never hit our server at all. This would be an issue on their end.
