I recently had to get a new computer. When downloading the SiteBuilder everything went great. However, when going to log in. I put in my credentials, and then I get an error message stating:
"INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED - You must be connected to the internet the first time you log in with Homestead SiteBuilder. If you stay offline, you will be unable to log in. Once you are online, click 'Connect' to continue.
If you are already online, you may have software that prevents SiteBuilder from connecting to the internet."
I am connected to the internet, so is there any troubleshooting tips to get around firewalls or antivirus?

Hello,

Below is a link that will walk you through the fix to make your Windows program work with the downloaded SiteBuilder. The Desktop Software has not been updated for several years which means at any time this could possibly become an issue again. We do have an online version of your builder of which you can access by logging in at Homestead.com. Above that, we have come out with a new builder called Website Builder that is responsive, has a mobile version, and will be secure.  If you would like to explore that option, there are many resources available through the Community.
