no e-mails in two days

Recetly there was a big increase in spam e-mails but for the last two + days I have had not had e-mails or spam. It is very unusual to have no e-mails or orders and I have had phone cc payments for orders supposedly placed. Another e-mail supposedly was sent but never arrived so I had my customer use an alternate e-mail address. Is there a problem with Kathy@KathyWildman.com or http://whatdidyoubringme.com

I have also noticed that when I have sent e-mails I get an error about failure due to lack of disk space. When I resend I get a message that the e-mail was already sent.

I sell neckties and this graduation season and Father's Day so I should be very busy. Another day with no e-mails or even any spam. Help!!

Dear Linda, Thank you for this information. In looking at the bar at the bottom of the folder box it said 57% which certainly did not seem full. I emptied the trash and it is now 36%. Hope it makes a difference. If you get this comment I would appreciate it if you could try sending an e-mail again. Thanks, Kathy

Taking out the trash may have solved the problem as I got several e-mails and an order tonight. Seems like it should not have been a problem at 57% usage. The inbox was approaching 1000 items - was that the limiting factor? No idea of how many orders I lost when they got a failed e-mail letter and assumed the website was no longer active. Thanks to Linda I did not have to wait all weekend for a response from homestead. TY TY TY

Tonight I have been deleting inbox e-mail but also making a last contact with my customer and inviting them to revisit my website. Of course this puts an e-mail in the sent folder so even when I empty the trash I have not really cut my quota. I wish I knew if they were going to the customer.  Since I am not getting any undeliverable notices it is hard to believe all the e-mails are still good. Is there a way to see if e-mails sent between 2- 3 AM on 6/6 from <kathy@kathywildman.com> were delivered.  Then I would feel safe in deleting the sent e-mail copies. I thought that since I am getting e-mails in they were also going out. I did a count by adding all folders and it came to 7673 but then I delted some more. How close to 10,000 do you have to be for it to shut down? I did get some real-time correspondence exchanges on current orders today.

On some of these e-mails I neglected to remove the cc to me and none of the reminder e-mails came to my inbox so that alsomakes me fear they were not sent, Text example:
  Dear John,

I am cleaning out old e-mails and thought you would like to see the new fish t-shirts

Here is an e-mail address savetheplanet4u@gmail.com that I sent to the customer and to me but I never got my copy. Does that mean the customer never got the e-mail sent at 2:10 on 6/6 I did a test with susan and did get my copy this morning. Does it have something to do with the age of the initial letter replied to = Wednesday, January 20, 2010 10:05:51 PM GMT - from the Saved folder?

Kathy, I am seeing that some messages during that time were being blocked as spam. It looks like you were trying to clean up your mailing list which is good, but a sufficient number of recipients had already marked you as spam thus triggering the spam block. I was able to clear the URL http://whatdidyoubringme.homestead.com/ from the spam filter for now. You might want to sign up for some feedback loops so you are aware if someone marks you as spam.
