Newly Added Email Not Receiving Incoming messages.

I added an email box to my account. I am able to send email from the account, but it is not receiving messages. I receive a failure notice when trying to send email to the new account.

Is this possibly due to domain settings?

Hello,

That is exactly what it was. The email records were missing from the DNS settings. I have added these records and the email should be functioning shortly.

Thank you Michelle. I just sent a test email and the account is still not receiving email. Can you tell me how long it might be for email to function properly?

It looks like the forward may be preventing the email from reaching the inbox. Remove the forward and re add it in a couple hours.
