Need to stop email forwarding, but the filter was created before the switch to Roundcube . Roundcube keeps forwarding the email and I have no way to delete the filter. Help!

HI roger, you may have already read this link. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/how-do-i-create-filters-in-roundcube

I don't know if it will help but, logically, if you can create filters you should be able to view and delete unwanted ones... As i am sure you are aware forwarding mail is now considered a bad option. Wish you luck with it. The tech guys will not be back in here until Monday morning or you can try customer service,

Thanks for the quick response.  Yes - I have been able to create a new filter - to a new gmail account, but the old one, to an old hughes.net address, is still running somewhere without showing up in the filters.  I guess I'll get in touch with Customer Service next week.  And no - I did not know all the bad stuff about forwarding until I started digging around the forum looking for an answer, but I do now.  So my filters will be gone.  Thanks again.

Your welcome Roger, Nothing is a constant as change, especially with the WWW. What was once OK is now not liked by search engines, mail servers etc. Just for info the new roundcube has a limit of 25 emails sent in mass mailing or once again it could block your emails as Spam..IF you need to send multiple emails Homestead offer a constant contact deal that allows for a lot more I believe, but, like all things, at a cost. The tech guys, when they are in here are really good at sorting problems. Good luck.

PS. Just a thought Roger, the previous OX mail is being kept to ensure Roundcube migrates all the necessary files so you may well still be able to log into your old email and remove that filter...https://emailmg.homestead.com/ox6/ox.html

Worth a try

Brian - I really thought you had it there, but I can't find anywhere in OX it can be disabled either.  I just forward the email that comes into my private Homestead webpage to my gmail account so it is never very many - most of the people that visit my webpage know my gmail address.  So this is not a huge priority.  Thanks again.

Well I thought I did - but the email is still being forwarded to rsp87mam@hughes.net.  What will happen when that account stops working - which it is supposed to do on the 19th?

There is no forward on that email any longer. Did you create a filter to forward it?

A long time ago - under the other webmail system.  I wasn't able to find a filter for it either, even in OX as Brian 4612 suggested.

Just wanted to say - it looks as if something finally took - the email is staying in my homestead inbox.  Thanks for all the help.
