My account was converted to the new platform and now my email folders are missing. Where are they?

1. To locate your migrated email folders, first click the mail icon and arrow as shown in the first image below.


2. Next, click the small arrow next to the Inbox to expand the folders.

3. You will then see a list of the migrated email folders.

Hello,

We've just been "upgraded" today and cannot locate any sub-folders in our inbox. How do we get them back? Also, all of our flagged emails are no longer flagged, will this be fixed? I hope the sub-folders are not gone forever because there is extremely important information logged into them. Please advise when this will be fixed.

What a disaster this was. Folders missing and same emails in the inbox as in my ONE AND ONLY FOLDER. Of course that is missing pertinent business information..........

Please fix this NOW!!!! Find my business folders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Jeff7378, for this scenario, the fastest way to help you may be to give us a call. If you are sure that the emails are not in any of the folders like shown above, we may need to do a re-migration. In either case we'll have to log into your account to verify information and explain the details. 800-710-1998.

Or, if it's easier for you I can have the old account unlocked so that you can log in and manually get any data that you need.

Where are all my folders from this great new upgrade?????????? Why are some of my new Inbox items in this one and only folder? Lost very pertinent business information. Need it fixed NOW!!!!!

My email will not show sent emails or save draft emails...what's wrong ?
I can receive emails and it seems like I can also send email but I can't see them on the sent emails folder.

We are not able to update your DNs records automatically because Wix controls your DNS, not us. You need to go to Wix and configure your DNS as outlined in this topic

Do not change the @ in the A records, as that will point the website back to us.

Not real happy right now....found my folders finally. I understand about the usage of lists...but sending out the email about it on New Year's Eve is not enough lead time....would prefer to make my own copy of my lists. Where is a copy of my lists by the way??? Also...that was a feature I bragged about the most...and now it's gone. Will we get financial compensation for the loss of this functionality? Now we have to use another paid service to be able to send distribution emails?

Hi Alison4221, Sorry about the short notice on the email conversion. There has been some confusion about the email lists. Are you referring to an email list or group that was created in the Zimbra email client? or an email list that was created on the Homestead website (which has it's own email address)?

Groups created within Zimbra did not transfer.

If you had a list stored on the Homestead site let me know the email address for that list and I can have it re-sent to you.

Hello. I am dan.sykes@digitaloceaninc.com I cant see my sub folders under indox. The ones there are not ones I created. Can you help me by ading those from the old email server or by opening the old one so I can have access to my data until you fix the problems? Thanks

Sure dan2480, I'm having the old account temporarily unlocked. If you wait about 15 minutes then go to https://mail.homesteadmail.com/zimbra/ you should be able to log in and get whatever information you need.

My email was upgraded last night and all of my folders are missing. This is a business email and the folders contained important information. According to your notices, ALL of my folders were suppose to me transferred. When will they show up?!

Yep, All my folders are GONE. Business e-mails. Wait a half hour for someone to 'chat' with...someone in India who has the balls to ask me for my password (not my PIN my password!) - end chat. Another half hour to get another person on the other side of the globe who tells me I need to download and install Google Chrome as my browser - no sh*t. Forget Homestead, I am migrating to a local provider ASAP....after 10+ years...yeah, since they were an American start-up, or at least you got people on the phone that would actually fix issues. Is this the same firm that did the Affordable Care Act website???

Calm donwn everyone. I had same prob with folders, or thought I did. Untill I clicked on the INBOX (colored grey)

So, click INBOX, within there is another grey inbox. Your lovely subfolders will be in there. Prob solved after 5mins of migration.

Perhaps yours and some others found theirs but I, and many, cannot. We lost everything too. They are doing re-migrations. One thing is for sure, we truly depend too much on the internet and emails to store our information.

Mine is there now, the left arrow that is. It wasn't there for the first week or so.
As for: "you need to click on the SECOND (inbox) after clicking on the first inbox", I won't even try to understand what that means. There should be ONE inbox....

I have not been able to access my e-mail account for days. I found a way through the website but my e-mail has changed for some reason. Not all my folders came on the new e-mail. Please unlock and let me know how to move the folders to my new e-mail

We are sorry if the web interface doesn't have all the feature you want, but you can use any email client that does, like Outlook, Mac mail, or Thunderbird to name a few.

how do i turn on the auto fill in feature that zimbra had. did my contact list transfer over?

Sorry but the auto-fill feature does not work the same way as the old one. It will only auto-fill if you start to type the email address rather than the name.

If you had an email list that was in the Zimbra system, it should have transferred over. If you don't see their names in your email contacts, let us know and we'll request a re-migration.

I am also unable to find my folders...some of which are necessary for doing my taxes. I have been trying to get through to Intuit for a month for other needs, but end up on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time and then have to disconnect to get back to work. The other day I actually got a live person...and she put me on hold for 25 minutes before I hung up. I have always liked Intuit but this is really poorly handled. We can't even get tech support.
Not really what I wanted to read, Mike.

Yes, please re-migrate. Interestingly, once I got my email set up on my smartphone last night, I can fine the files on the phone - but not on the computer. Thank you.

Then, a re-migration is not the fix. Did you configure the phone as an imap or pop account? What about the computer?

If you want to view emails on both devices, they should both be IMAP .

This is a disaster. Where are the folders I saved with important business information. I'm running a business and cannot be on hold for indefinite periods of time. Why weren't we informed in advance? I am delayed getting out important email.
