my new provider says to edit my name servers to direct my domain to them. does that mean i have to continue to pay the same monthly fee to homestead even though i am not posting a site with you?

You don't pay website maintenance fees unless you have a Homestead website.
You will pay Homestead for domain registration fees if your domain name is registered through Homestead.

Unfortunately, we do need to make this change for you, but the domain hosting fee is $14.99/year. Do you want me to make the change? Your Homestead website will be deleted when we change it.
