my index page will not open for updates

My index (home) page will NOT open for updates. EVERY page opens except my index page...SO when guess come to my site they see "Happy New Year" on index page because I cannot update it! I have called Homestead twice and was told I had too many files on my site, so I got rid of many files & pages and still it will NOT load...PLEASE HELP ME OR I WILL HAVE TO QUIT Homestead!!!

Are you using SB+? Are you over your limit? Maybe you can delete some files from your file manage, located behind your url. Delete old images and perhaps it will help.
