Using the older SiteBuilder Plus, but the Audio Player should still work, presumably. When you visit thedredgeresort.com, a parody site of only one landing page designed to alert the locals in our community about the need to dredge our nationally renowned river, you should hear a calypso instrumental of 'Yellow Bird.' We hear it in Preview and when we hit Publish, but when we revisit the URL...nada. And yet we have the Audio Player set to 'Play Automatically' and 'Repeat Continuously' and 'Auto Load When Page is Viewed.' What's wrong? Anybody? (Thank you for considering this inquiry. We're hoping the answer isn't 'Upgrade to the next version of Sitebuilder.' Rrrrrrrrr...) ;)

Hello Ralph,

Unfortunately I do not see thedredgeresort.com associated with your Homestead account and when I look at the name servers they are pointing to a different host also. That domain is associated with a mydomain account. Here is their support number if you would like to contact them 800-405-7875. If it is a site other than thedredgeresort.com please let me know which one.

Hi Michelle,
Thank you for responding. Actually, we lease the domain name thedredgereport (dot) (com) from MyDomain. But the site is hosted at Homestead under our toonutsproductions (dot) (com) account. If you access that account, and scroll down the list of pages under View Pages, you'll find it. Promise. :)

Ah hah! Its a specific page on that site, my apologies. To resolve that you will want to use the newer version of the audio player. Go to insert, hover over YouTube video and select audio player. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/sitebuilder-plus-add-media-files Should resolve that and work how you set it to.

Thank you for the reply, Michelle. The steps described via the link are, in fact, what I did. But if I'm using the older version of Sitebuilder, I suspect that the only Audio Player I'm inserting onto the page is the older one. How might I access and insert the newer Audio Player if I've build the page using the older version of the program? And is that even possible?  I appreciate any further intel you can provide. rs

Ralph,

That page plays audio automatically when I visit it. Either you've already re-added the audio file and got it working, or it may be a setting on your browser that doesn't allow the audio to play automatically.
